Dong Jian Village is the second largest administrative village in Jinshan Town, Nanjing County, Zhangzhou City. It is located in the northeast of Nanjing County, on the west bank of Jiulong River at the south foot of the beautiful Goose Fairy Cave. National Highway 3 19 runs through the village for more than five kilometers. It is the main economic and political activity center and the main window of Jinshan Town. It has jurisdiction over Jinshan Agricultural Bank, Jinshan Rural Credit Cooperative, Jinshan Supply and Marketing Cooperative, Jinshan Post, Jinshan Telecom, Jinshan Local Taxation Bureau and Jinshan Land. It is adjacent to Shuimei Village in the east, Jinshan Village, Anhou Village, Jingmei Village and Magong Village in the south, Hecun Village in the west and Dujing Village in the north. The whole village became a rope.

Dong Jian Village was formed in 2003. The traditional torch festival of Jinshan, dragon and lion dances and large-scale colorful street activities are held on the 20th night of the first month of each year, attracting the villagers to watch the excitement, setting off fireworks and firecrackers, and creating a peaceful Dong Jian. It has been awarded the title of advanced unit of villagers' construction by superior departments at all levels and county governments for many times.

[Architectural Landscape] Dong Jian Village has been declared antique by various temples, and all villages have been listed as cultural relics protection units by county-level cultural relics units. The newly-built Shunguo Road 3 19 line forms a rope shape, and storefront buildings are formed on both sides of the street. Expressway, Zhang Long, has set up the Jinshan Interchange in Dong Jian Village, which has brought good impetus to the village economy. The establishment of Malata Branch and Dongbao Canning Factory has solved many problems for the villagers.

[Characteristic industries] At present, the main agricultural and sideline products in Dong Jian Village are bamboo shoots, bananas and mushrooms. The planted bananas have high yield and good quality, and are well received by customers. Banana purchasing point has begun to take shape, providing the main purchasing market for agricultural and sideline products in the town, especially bananas. Nanjing Gan Lu Jinshan acquisition point delivery all over the country. There are many primary processing points for bamboo shoots in Jinshan Village. Dongbao Canning Factory, the canned bamboo shoots and mushrooms processed by agricultural and sideline products are sold to many countries in the world, and it is one of the largest canned processing industries in Nanjing County at present. There are Yan restaurants in the jurisdiction, which reach the three-star service level and provide accommodation and convenience for tourists in the past. Automobile transportation is also the main economic income of the village. There are countless people in this village who get rich by buying cars and transporting them.

There are also some specialties such as Nanjing Zhengdongmi, Nanjing Banana, Nanjing Dangui, Nanjing Tieguanyin and Nanjing Mazun.
