What procedures do you need to go through to run an agricultural cooperative?
The procedures required for operating an agricultural cooperative are as follows:

1. Apply for business license of cooperative legal person;

2. Handle the official seal of the cooperative;

3. Registration of agricultural agents (agricultural agents under the Bureau of Agriculture);

4. Apply for the unified code certificate of the organization;

5. Apply for tax registration certificate;

6. Handle bank account opening and account number.

Rural cooperatives have the following benefits:

1. Products sold by cooperative members are regarded as self-produced and sold by farmers;

2. When purchasing products from cooperatives, general VAT taxpayers can deduct the input tax according to 13%;

3. The agricultural materials provided by cooperatives to members are exempt from VAT;

4. Product sales contracts signed by cooperatives and their members are exempt from stamp duty;

5. In terms of projects, cooperatives can be the main units of agriculture-related projects;

6, all localities should arrange a certain amount of financial support funds every year;

7. In terms of financial support, cooperatives are included in the credit evaluation system, and credit rating is given first, and then credit is used, so it is easier to obtain loan financial support.

Legal basis: Article 16 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Farmers' Professional Cooperatives.

To establish a farmers' professional cooperative, the following documents shall be submitted to the administrative department for industry and commerce to apply for registration of establishment:

(1) Application for registration;

(2) Minutes of the founding meeting signed and sealed by all promoters;

(3) Articles of Association signed and sealed by all promoters;

(four) the legal representative, director of the office certificate and identity certificate;

(5) List of capital contributions signed and sealed by the investors;

(six) the certificate of residence use;

(seven) other documents as prescribed by laws and administrative regulations.

The registration authority shall, within 20 days from the date of accepting the application for registration, complete the formalities and issue a business license to the applicant who meets the registration conditions. The registration type is farmers' professional cooperatives.

Where the statutory registration items of farmers' professional cooperatives change, they shall apply for registration of change.

The registration authority shall notify the relevant departments such as agriculture at the same level of the registration information of farmers' professional cooperatives.

Measures for the registration of farmers' professional cooperatives shall be formulated by the State Council. There is no charge for registration.
