The Historical Evolution of Yuanshan Town
In ancient times, the territory of Yuanshan Town was Zitong County, Huayang County, Huang An County, Pucheng County, Pu 'an County and Jianzhou in turn.

During the Southern and Northern Dynasties (457-464), the territory of Yuanshan now belonged to Huayang County (now south of Jiange Wanghe Town) and Nan 'an County (now south of Jiange Town).

The Northern Dynasties and the Western Wei Dynasty abolished the emperor for three years (554 years). Today, the territory of Yuanshan belongs to Huang An County (Huayang County was relocated) and Huangyuan County.

At the end of the Tang Dynasty, Huang An County was renamed pucheng county.

From the Yuan Dynasty to the twentieth year of the Yuan Dynasty (1283), pucheng county was merged into Pu 'an County (Nan 'an County was relocated, now Pu 'an Town was ruled), belonging to Jianzhou (Pu 'an County was ruled, now Pu 'an Town), and the territory of Yuanshan was changed to Pu 'an County.

In the sixth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1373), Pu 'an County was abandoned, and its jurisdiction was merged into Jianzhou. Now Yuanshan territory belongs to Jianzhou.

In the eighth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1730), a temple was built in Yuancang Mountain, which was later developed, hence the name Yuanshanchang.

In the 11th year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1872), Xiumubao (Zhiyuan Mountain Farm) belonged to Jianzhou (known as Puan Town). In the second year of Xuantong (19 10), Chengmu Town was established, which was under the jurisdiction of Jianzhou and governed Xiumubao and Guangbao (Kaifeng Town, now Jiange Kaifeng Town), and Chengmu Town and Xiumubao governed Yuanshan Field.

In the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), Jianzhou was changed to Jiange County, and Chengmu Town was changed to Jiange County.

In the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), Chengmu Town was abandoned, Xiumu Fort was changed to Xiumu Group, and its jurisdiction remained unchanged.
