There are three ways to activate the social security card:

1, bank activation

Bring your valid ID card and social security card to the bank where the social security card is opened (it will be marked on the card) and ask the staff at the counter who will help you activate it. Activating the social security card requires face authentication, so you must go in person.

2. The social security agency is activated

If it is a newly applied social security card, then when the social security bureau receives the social security card, the on-site staff can help them activate the social security card.

3. Phone activation

If it is inconvenient to go out, you can also try to activate by calling the social security service hotline, which can be operated according to the voice prompt, or directly press "0" to transfer the manual service.
