Chongqing Local Taxation Bureau was established in September 1994, and implemented four vertical management systems of personnel, establishment, organization and funds. The city's local tax system is mainly responsible for collecting five types of insurance, such as business tax 13, old-age insurance, education surcharge, cultural undertakings construction fee and local education surcharge. Responsible for collecting six expenses (funds), such as the disabled security fund, trade union funds, bulk cement fund, reservoir fund, coal price adjustment fund (which has been suspended at present) and garbage disposal fee. Chongqing Local Taxation Bureau was named as the third batch of "National Demonstration Sites for Creating Civilized Industries" and won the titles of "National Civilized Unit" and "National Advanced Grassroots Party Organization" successively.
