There are shuttle buses from Shajing Central Bus Station and Xinqiao Bus Station to Guangzhou Railway Station, which generally takes no more than two and a half hours. You'd better sit in the station. There are sometimes black buses parked outside the station. Once I was fooled by this super slow train, and it took me five hours to go to Guangzhou Railway Station.
