The police can only get it by checking the information on the household registration book, the person and the computer household registration. After the information of the new ID card is collected, the parties concerned sign the confirmation form, and they can get the new ID card from the public security organ one month later. If it is urgently needed, it can be expedited and delivered to the designated place by the postal department within 10 working days.

The public security organ shall issue resident identity cards within 60 days from the date when citizens apply for accreditation. In areas with inconvenient transportation, the processing time may be appropriately extended, but the extension time shall not exceed 30 days.
