In Yang Chun National Geopark, about 30 kilometers northeast of Chuncheng, there is an ancient human site cave in Beimian Road Cungang, where a tooth of Homo sapiens was unearthed. Ancient humans used 1000 pieces of discarded animal bones and built more than 400 stone tools, bones and grinded stones. According to the C 14 dating of Peking University animal bones, it is 1.63- 1.43 million years, belonging to the late Paleolithic to the early Neolithic (that is, the end of the late Pleistocene). This is the key cultural relics protection unit in Guangdong Province-Dushizi ancient human cave site.
