Over the past six months, our hospital has closely focused on the top priority of law enforcement and case handling, actively performed judicial functions, made a good start for the economic and social development of our city during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, achieved rapid economic development, and created a harmonious and stable social environment, a fair and just legal environment, and a high-quality and efficient service environment.
(1) Severely punish serious criminal offences and make every effort to maintain social stability. In the criminal trial work, our hospital actively promotes the standardization of sentencing, and through standardizing sentencing behavior, summarizes and solidifies scientific sentencing methods to ensure balanced sentencing results and open and transparent process. In the first half of the year, 40 cases/kloc-0 were tried by standardized sentencing, and 2 18 defendants were sentenced, of which only 9 defendants appealed against the verdict, and the prisoner's serving rate reached 95.9%.
At the same time, actively use the trial function to participate in the comprehensive management of social security and social management innovation, increase the protection of human rights in the judicial field, implement the criminal policy of tempering justice with mercy, and strengthen the judicial protection of minors' rights and interests. 155 criminals were sentenced to probation in the first half of the year, accounting for 73.8% of the total number of people sentenced. In the first half of the year, * * * accepted 1095 civil and commercial cases, and concluded 624 cases, with a settlement rate of 57%. At the same time, firmly establish the concept of harmonious justice, strengthen the mediation of civil and commercial cases, adhere to the principle of "mediation first, combination of mediation and judgment" and implement the effective connection of "three mediation linkages", and properly handle and resolve a large number of contradictions and disputes. According to the requirements of the higher court, the case quality of 35 letters and visits cases was evaluated. Adhere to the standardized, "all-weather" filing system and the system of collecting and filing on behalf of others, give priority to providing legal advice, litigation guidance and convenience services for vulnerable groups such as the disabled, the elderly and migrant workers, effectively play the role of "window" service for filing work, and meet the litigation needs of the people to the maximum extent in judicial proceedings.
Two, strengthen the trial management, improve the quality and efficiency of the trial, pay close attention to law enforcement and case handling, and ensure the fairness of the referee.
The provincial court designated this year as the "year of case quality", and our hospital took this opportunity to take various measures to vigorously strengthen trial management and system construction to ensure fair judgment.
(1) Strengthen the awareness of trial management and strengthen trial management.
