The total national production volume has shown a downward trend year by year
From 2015 to 2020, the total liquor production volume has shown a downward trend year by year. In 2020, China's liquor production was 7.407 million liters, a year-on-year decrease of 5.75%; the liquor production from January to June 2021 was 3.851 million liters.
Note: The volume of goods converted to 65 degrees is the liquor-related statistical indicator of the National Bureau of Statistics, which will not be described in detail below.
National sales have shown a downward trend year by year
From 2015 to 2020, my country’s liquor sales have shown a fluctuating downward trend. As the epidemic eases, the demand for going out and dining together, which has been suppressed by the long-term lockdown, will begin to pick up, which will bring good news to the Chinese economy and Chinese liquor sales; therefore, Chinese liquor may rise slightly to 770.64 Thousands of liters.
The liquor industry is concentrated in Sichuan, Guizhou and Shandong
At present, the sales revenue of the liquor industry in Sichuan Province has reached 44.19%, occupying an absolute leading position in the liquor industry. Followed by Guizhou and Shandong, sales revenue accounted for 16.70% and 7.89% respectively.
Therefore, currently, the major provinces selling liquor are concentrated in Sichuan, Guizhou and Shandong provinces. Overall, the industrial concentration of the liquor industry is increasing. The sales revenue share of the top three regions was 68.82%; the sales revenue share of the top seven regions reached 88.16%. The scale effect in the industry is strong, and the strong will always be strong.
Sichuan liquor production ranks first in six years
In 2020, Sichuan Province’s liquor production still ranks first in the country, with a production of 3.676 million liters; Hubei currently ranks second Province, the liquor output is 359,000 kiloliters; currently ranked third is Guizhou Province, with a production of 238,100 kiloliters.
Currently, Sichuan, Hubei and Guizhou provinces rank among the top three in liquor production in the country. Judging from data from other years, Henan and Shandong are also major liquor-producing provinces.
Sichuan liquor sales revenue ranks first
Sichuan Province ranks first in the liquor industry sales revenue for two consecutive years. Liquor sales revenue in Sichuan Province reached 237.029 billion yuan in 2018, a year-on-year increase of 11.70%; followed by Guizhou Province and Shandong Province, with sales revenue ranking second and third respectively.
Note: As of the end of July 2021, the official sales revenue data by region has not yet been announced, so the data from 2017-2018 are used for analysis.
