Sichuan Finance and Taxation Practical Skills Competition is a provincial-level college student competition approved by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. It is not a national competition, but a professional practice competition sponsored by the Provincial Department of Education, undertaken by the school, assisted by the Sichuan Provincial Taxation Bureau in State Taxation Administration of The People's Republic of China, People's Republic of China (PRC), and implemented by the Finance and Taxation College.

The purpose of the contest is to "focus on the hot issues of finance and taxation, and strengthen the publicity and education of tax law", aiming at improving the quality of training high-end technical talents in economics, promoting the innovation of finance and taxation courses in colleges and universities, further demonstrating the knowledge literacy of finance and taxation of college students in the province, and cultivating and improving students' ability to handle finance and taxation business, comprehensive literacy and innovative spirit of teamwork.
