The name of Shaoguan High-speed Railway Station is Shaoguan Station, and the name of Shaoguan Railway Station is Shaoguan East Station.

Shaoguan Station

1. Located in Chishui New Village, Shaoguan Avenue, Wujiang District, southwest of Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, 14.6 kilometers northeast from Shaoguan East Station, it is affiliated to Guangzhou South Railway Station of Guangzhou Railway (Group) Company It is under the jurisdiction of the station and was completed and put into use on December 26, 2009 together with the Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway (Wuhan-Guangzhou Section of the Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway).

2. The external wall color of the station is bright red, which is based on the characteristics of Shaoguan Danxia Mountain. It is Shaoguan's famous "Danxia Red", giving people a novel and solemn feeling. On December 15, 2009, the Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway New Shaoguan Station was renamed from the original Shaoguan West Station to Shaoguan Station.

Shaoguan East Station

1. It is located on Beijiang North Road, Zhenjiang District, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, 14.6 kilometers away from Shaoguan Station. It was connected with Guangshao Railway and Beijing Railway Station on June 15, 1916. The Guangzhou Railway (Guangshao Section of the Guangdong-Han Railway) was completed and put into use.

The current station building of Shaoguan East Station was completed and put into use on December 16, 1988 together with the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway (Hengzhou-Guangzhou Double Line Expansion and Renovation). The station building of Shaoguan East Station was renovated on July 15, 2013 and completed in early 2014.

3. On September 30, 2014, the Shaoguan East Station, the starting station of the Shaoguan Railway, ushered in the opening of a new railway (Shaoguan Railway). On June 15, 2016, Shaoguan East Station celebrated its 100th birthday, adding another century-old station to Guangdong.
