Hunan Metropolitan Vocational College is a full-time general vocational college approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the College is Hunan Institute of Information Management, which was founded in 198 1. In February 2007, with the approval of Hunan Provincial People's Government, it was upgraded to a full-time general higher vocational college.
