Hunan Metropolitan Vocational College is a full-time general vocational college approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the College is Hunan Institute of Information Management, which was founded in 198 1. In February 2007, with the approval of Hunan Provincial People's Government, it was upgraded to a full-time general higher vocational college.

Formerly known as Hunan Art School 195 1, the College merged with Hunan Film Academy in 2002 and was upgraded to hunan vocational college of art.

Hunan Taxation College, located in Changsha City, Hunan Province, was founded in 1984, and is the first ordinary college in the national taxation system. The library covers an area of 375 mu, with a building area of 96,268 square meters and a collection of more than 300,000 books.
There are 309 teaching and administrative staff, including on-the-job 165, sub-high school and above with 8 1 person, and 77 teachers are trained. College is one of the three core training bases in State Taxation Administration of The People's Republic of China, People's Republic of China (PRC), "National Demonstration Base of Clean Government Education in Tax System" and "Demonstration Point of Clean Government Culture Construction in Hunan Province".
