Experience and feeling of reading Tao Te Ching 1
Lin Yutang once said: "I think anyone who reads the Tao Te Ching will laugh at first, then laugh at himself, and finally feel that this theory is needed now." At least, this will be the reaction of most people when they first read Laozi, and so will I myself. "I think this is how you feel when you read the Tao Te Ching.
In fact, every nation will have a wise man who will stand in front of the crowd, between heaven and earth, and tell everyone that he can see the world. Tell future generations what the world is like, how to live better and longer, and how to avoid being destroyed by others and yourself. And Lao Tzu is such a wise man.
Lao Tzu blames everything on Tao. He believes that Tao is the ontology of the universe, and everything in the world originates from Tao, so there are: "Tao gives birth to one, two, three, three." "Miscellaneous, born, solitary and sparse, independent and unchanging, Zhou Xing is not dangerous, and can be the mother of the world. I don't know its name, the word is' Tao'. " Therefore, the "Tao" that our descendants once again understand is that the Tao is chaotic and infinite, generating the qi of HarmonyOS system, which contains yin and yang, and regenerating into the three talents of heaven, earth and man, thus forming all things in the world. But Lao Tzu also said, "Tao can be Tao, not surprising;" The name can be named. It's very famous. "That means you can't put it into words." People abide by the law, the earth abides by the law, the sky abides by the law, and the Tao is natural. "This is the relationship between heaven and earth.
Tao gives birth to everything, but it is also illusory. In the trance illusion, it contains all the images; There are various entities; In fact, Lao Tzu's "Tao" is the objective law of the development and change of things. It existed before heaven and earth, and it started again and again. Today, with the development of science and technology, scientists have also confirmed that the development of nature is regular, and it exists in various things. This is this, that is that, and everything follows its inherent trajectory. People can know it, experience it and reform it in a certain way according to objective laws. From this point of view, Lao Tzu has already revealed the beginning of the universe and the origin of nature in Tao Te Ching, which is more than 2,000 years earlier than western modern theory.
Laozi's Tao is profound and unattainable. So that we can only look up to touch his profound thoughts. The "worry" advocated by Laozi has also been pursued by later generations as a philosophy of life.
"Tao" is the inherent law of things, it is mysterious, it is hidden inside things, it is unreasonable and unreachable. And "virtue" means "the power of Tao" and "the use of Tao". It is a kind of human behavior that people know and transform things, and it is understandable, acceptable and approachable.
"Virtue" is not what we usually think of as morality or virtue, but a necessary world outlook, attitude towards life and way of treating people. He pays attention to "saints have no intention, but take the hearts of the people as their hearts." I'm good at doing good things, I'm good at doing bad things, and I become very good. I believe those who believe, and I believe those who don't. ""Kindness is like water ""Being stingy with your husband means taking it early, and taking it early means accumulating virtue. "
Laozi respects water the most among all things in nature, and thinks that the virtue of water is the closest to the virtue of saints. The ideal "sage" is the embodiment of Tao. Among the five elements, water is the smallest and the last. Those who are good at living in the Tao are small and not doing it; After the crowd, Changde came first. Strive for indisputable things, be selfless and selfish. This is the most remarkable characteristic of water. Water nourishes everything but takes nothing away from everything, and is willing to stay in the lowest and wettest place. It is better to live in the evil of others than to compete for profits, and others have nothing to complain about. Water has its virtue comparable to that of a saint, and it can be called "Tao". But in the real society, everyone is striving for progress, and competition is inevitable. Where there is competition, there is struggle, and where there is struggle, there will naturally be bloodshed. Water is smarter than people, willing to be inferior, nourishing everything without taking credit, doing nothing and not doing it. "Kindness is like water" is a cheerful and optimistic attitude towards life. Xiu De's essential state, a fitness technique. If we have virtue in our hearts, we will respect nature and life more and more, and we will be closer to the Tao and better understand the ultimate philosophy of life.
Experience and Reflection on Reading The Second Classic of Tao Te Ching
I just finished reading the Tao Te Ching and got a lot of inspiration from it. The author Lao Zi is a famous thinker and philosopher in ancient China. This book is Laozi's way of troubled times and philosophy of life, not the moral textbook I thought. Of course, it only needs more than 20 pages, but because of the limited understanding ability, there must be 23 people in 10 who can understand the whole book.
First of all, Lao Tzu summed up the changes of natural phenomena and social phenomena at that time, and everything changed in the opposite direction. It is pointed out that the universal law of "extremes meet opposites" is true in almost every aspect.
I understand the life world, look at life attitude, advocate gentle obedience to women, and oppose strong enterprising. Laozi's thought is inaction.
Now people generally think that his thoughts are negative, but in fact, his thoughts contain more love for the working people. He hopes to influence the ruling class through his own thoughts, so that ordinary people can get more self-restraint and live and work in peace.
I think "inaction" contains the guiding ideology of letting nature take its course and not being forced, so it can penetrate into all aspects of life. For example, you can also create your own ideas on educational ideas. As the saying goes, learning is a blind and voluntary thing. Only when students take the initiative to learn and regard learning as a happy thing can they succeed in learning, which requires us educators to guide students to learn happily, easily, blindly and voluntarily in educational theory. Governing by doing nothing in education is not to ignore it, but to guide it according to the situation and never encourage it. Not conforming to the laws of nature, abusing all kinds of growth hormones, not respecting children's wishes, and consciously participating in all kinds of Olympic math, learning piano, playing violin and other training are often counterproductive.
At the same time, Lao Tzu's thought of "extremes meet" seems to predict today's society. The so-called culture, technology and modernization pursued by human beings should all serve human beings, but environmental pollution, energy depletion, progress in consumption rate, rising unemployment rate and widening gap between the rich and the poor all seem to be closely related to the so-called high technology. People work to keep their jobs and have no time to care about themselves and their families. When they have time, they have no money; when they have money, they have no time. Or neither. How can such a society be said to be beautiful? After a high degree of prosperity, mankind should return to something, so as not to go to the extreme and go to the other side, to the point of irretrievability.
Laozi was a great thinker in ancient China. Today, his influence in the world far exceeds that of Confucius. Laozi's theory is "mysterious and unpredictable", but I have never been able to find the "door to a panacea". There are too many people who have studied Laozi since ancient times, but I always think that it is more meaningful for individuals to realize the philosophy of life such as "extremes meet" and "governing by doing nothing". I think many of his ideas are worth pondering.
Experience and Reflection on Reading The Third Classic of Tao Te Ching
Be a real person. In one's life, one will always meet all kinds of people, some are eloquent and some are not good at words. Some people talk sweet words, while others are taciturn but rich in connotation. Words that are sweet but not centrifugal are far more beautiful than words that are full of care but mean advice. "Good words are not beautiful, and no one believes them" just shows that flashy is not as good as flashy. Sincere words are far better than flattering words. Be a real person and seek truth from facts.
Be a kind person. Justice is in people's hearts, and good people are not for themselves. Convince people by reasoning is their pursuit. People who are eloquent always quibble, but honest and kind people never quibble. The more a person emphasizes, the more he shows his own shortcomings, the more he explains and the more he covers up. "Good people don't argue, the debater is not good", rather than argue irrationally, it is better to convince people with reasoning. Be a kind person, be loyal and honest, and convince others by reasoning.
Be a wise man. People with smart minds are not very knowledgeable because they think that intelligence is capital. People with knowledge are not very clever, because they know that their brains are not as clever as their hearts. Wisdom is higher than cleverness. It's better to live smart and meaningful than to live smart and meaningful. And "Ming" tells us to have an insight into the world, self-evident, to understand him, to be sensible, to understand etiquette, and to understand life. And the most important one is self-evident. Only by knowing what you want, what you are doing, why you should do it, and how to do it correctly can you understand yourself. "The knower doesn't know, and the knower doesn't know." They dabble in reading more, full of poems and books. Reading makes people smart, wise and profound. Be a wise man, be clear about virtue and return.
Be a person who knows how to give and give. Giving is a virtue, and dedication is a quality. Simply taking will only make the road of life narrower and narrower. Although paying may lose something, people always have to understand that sometimes losing is another way to get it. You may lose the "material" but gain the "spirit". The more help you give, the more inner satisfaction you will get. Of course, dedication and dedication are not unreserved, and it is not advisable to pay blindly without considering the return. It is good to know the scale of giving and dedication. Be a dedicated person, be helpful and warm to others.
To be a person who doesn't struggle, just let nature take its course, be down-to-earth and work hard. You should understand that "the harder you work, the luckier you are", but you should also know that you have to push yourself. If you get it, you should cherish it. If you can't get it, don't force it. If you lose it, just let it be and be happy. ...
It's so good to experience the beauty of life and cultivate yourself in silence. ...
Experience and Thinking of Reading Tao Te Ching 4
When I was studying at school, I didn't have many opportunities to get in touch with Laozi's Tao Te Ching. Relatively speaking, we will be more familiar with the Analects of Confucius. Perhaps because I didn't read it, I was curious, so I chose it to write my first reading experience, not the Analects. When I saw the first chapter of this book, I found it familiar. The sentences in it are often used as lines in TV dramas and are widely known. Tao Te Ching is difficult to understand in some places, and the sentences in it are profound, just like talking about some profound truths. So when reading, I have some words and sentences to help me understand the information inside. I once heard someone say that once translated, the Tao Te Ching is no longer the original Tao Te Ching. In fact, it hides the works of Laozi, a great saint whose wisdom is the crystallization. The information in it is not for translation, but for perception. Only by reading with your heart can you hear what I want to say, not just a literal understanding. This gain is very small. However, if translation can help us better understand Laozi and Tao Te Ching, so be it.
The phrase "Tao can be Tao, but it can't be constant" appears repeatedly in TV dramas. A name can be named, but it is not a constant name ",from the first chapter of Tao Te Ching. I wonder if others understand the meaning of this sentence when watching TV series. When I read it, I only thought it was a mysterious sentence, and I had no idea what it meant. This chapter is actually about Laozi's self-philosophy, which holds that Tao gives birth to all things and is the source of all things. In fact, if you look through the Tao Te Ching, you will find that "Tao" appears very frequently. As the core idea of Laozi's philosophical theory, "Tao" represents his unique and profound understanding and observation of the universe and life, and his observation and thinking of nature and everything in the world. "Tao" is unspeakable and difficult to understand. Its process is a long process from "nothing" to "being".
There is a stone in our high school, leaning against a big tree. The stone is engraved with the word "as good as water", which is dark green and looks good against the big trees. The word "good as water" also comes from the eighth chapter of Tao Te Ching, which may have been seen in TV dramas. It tells the story that the kindest person is like water. Water is good at nourishing everything without competing with it, so it stays in a place that everyone doesn't like, so it is closest to the Tao, and so is the kindest person. Water is weak, but it is the most powerful. It can even let stones pass through. A person's character should be like water, and selfless. Although these four words are simple, they are by no means easy to do. Only really kind people can really do it.
There are many truths in the Tao Te Ching. Although some of them have lost their meaning at this moment, many of them still have important enterprising significance today and are still worth collecting and learning. Tao Te Ching has taught us a lot. If you really study hard, you will gain a lot.
Experience and Thinking of Reading Tao Te Ching 5
When I was a child, I was exposed to the classic Tao Te Ching by the sage Lao Zi. You can easily guess my ignorance of children at that time. This book can be described as "two monks are puzzled." My initial understanding of Laozi and Tao Te Ching can be traced back to the story my grandfather told me. Grandpa told me many ancient legends, including the legend about the sage Laozi. It is said that Laozi wrote the classic "Tao Te Ching", which was handed down through the ages, and rode a green ox overnight, leaving the Hangu Pass in the west and becoming the legendary old gentleman on the throne. When I was a child, I listened to these mysterious things, all of which were related to Laozi, but I didn't know much about who Laozi was, what Laozi's theory was, and what the Tao Te Ching he wrote meant.
To read a book, read a person first. This is my motto when I read books. If you just look at the content of a book and don't deeply understand why the author did it, then the real purpose is to do it with the author. I don't lack some people who write books purely for making money or being famous. Such a person does not deserve to be called an author, only a writer. Laozi lived in the late Spring and Autumn Period. At that time, there was chaos in the world, disputes among princes, and the general public lived in dire straits. Times make heroes, and times will also make outstanding people in culture and spirit. Nowadays, many people say that the Analects of Confucius is a must-learn for an official and the Tao Te Ching is a must-learn for a man. There must be some truth to follow, but it is not as one-sided as it is now. A book of Tao Te Ching covers politics, economy, military affairs, life and many other aspects. In other words, it can be regarded as an encyclopedia more generally, but the true classification of Tao Te Ching is still regarded as a philosophical work.
Laozi's Taoism is full of dialectics. Starting with the discussion of the changes of the universe and the laws of nature, this paper puts forward that "Tao is great, Tao is great, and man is great." There are four major areas in the field, and people are one of them. " True people-oriented comes directly from the concern for people's livelihood and the concern for the weak and vulnerable groups in society. Lao Tzu's way is the way of the weak, which has important practical significance for social personnel. Tao Te Ching reveals all things in the universe, nature, society, people and their laws of movement, so it is a broad philosophical system, and it puts forward many philosophical concepts that reflect the general laws of things' movement, which has had a great influence on China culture and even the whole world. Hegel once thought that the philosophical hometown of the world was China! Among many philosophical concepts in Laozi's Tao Te Ching, I am most familiar with the knowledge that exists in the world.
There are many famous sentences about self-cultivation in Tao Te Ching: "Sin is greater than excessive desire, disaster is greater than dissatisfaction, blame is greater than desire", "I am willing to eat, dress beautifully, live in peace and enjoy customs", "I am not ashamed of my feet, and Zhi Zhi is in danger" and so on. Appreciate Laozi's views on life accomplishment and life. I think many of his words and sentences are enlightening to the soul. From time to time, he knocks the alarm bell, which makes people drunk when they wake up, and it feels like drinking wine for thousands of years. The longer, the better. Cultivation is an old but often new topic. Whenever I talk about Laozi's philosophy in detail, there will always be new experiences and insights in my heart. There is a very classic sentence in the proposition of establishing the world-"The world is not weaker than water, and the strong cannot win, so it is easy." It is well known to all that the weak wins the strong and the weak wins the strong. "Weakness is better than strength, which is a dialectical proposition full of opposing ideas and opposing transformation in Laozi's philosophy, and has the significance of universal truth. The sentence I just mentioned, taking water as an example, means that there is nothing weaker than water in the world, but nothing can beat it, because nothing can replace it. Everyone knows that weakness is better than strength, and weakness is better than hardness. It can be said that a drop of water wears away the stone, and soft water can penetrate the hard stone. In Lao Tzu's view, it is a natural law that the weak wins the strong. Compared with the superficial understanding that "the strong can overcome the weak, and the just can overcome the weak", soft wins the strong and weak wins the strong, which is undoubtedly a leap and deepening example in epistemology. This sentence tells us that something new, weak and temporarily at a disadvantage is a powerful argument to defeat something old and temporarily seemingly powerful.
"If the water is good, everything in water conservancy is indisputable, and everyone is evil, it is a matter of Tao. Living in a good place, kind-hearted, kind-hearted, good at words, good at politics, good at doing things, good at dealing with people. Husband is not noisy, and there is nothing special. " This sentence is the most familiar in China, that is, "Good as water". Laozi advocates learning from places with weak water quality, that is, softness. Why? Because the weakest thing in the world is water, which can penetrate hard stones. Speaking of people, if a person can achieve the spirit and meaning endowed by "being kind as water", then his heart will be as deep as water, treat people as close as water, speak as sincerely as water, and do things as flexibly as water. Do you think such a noble gentleman is a perfect person and worth learning?
