Later, Quanzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone was established here, belonging to Quanzhou City.

In 2009, Qingmeng Development Zone (Quanzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone) was upgraded to a national development zone.

Qingmeng Village:

Also known as Jingxian Village (Sanyuan, the champion of the Yuan Dynasty in the Northern Song Dynasty, and Taihe Mountain in Qingmeng, the birthplace and burial place of Wang Zeng) is located at the northwest end of Jinjiang City, Fujian Province, one kilometer south of the overpass in Xinnan District, Quanzhou.

It borders Chaita Village in the east, Yingbin Road (a section of Quan Yuan Xiamen Highway) and Tingdian Street in Licheng, Quanzhou in the west, Quanzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone in the south, and Chifeng Road in the south of Quanzhou in the north, with convenient transportation. Many bus lines in Quanzhou run through the village, and Jinji River system in Jinjiang flows through the village.
