Step 2 Fill in the application form

The application form should be filled in with blue-black or black ink. The application form should fill in the name, ID number, home address, application type, application reason, etc. The ID card must be filled with the 18 digit number.

Step 3: Copy the ID card and household register and take photos.

After filling in the application form, the applicant should paste a copy of his ID card and personal data of the household registration book on the back of the application form. The applicant posted a recent bareheaded half-length photo with a white front and a smooth head on the application form, with the photo size of 48×33mm. The fourth step is to pay the fee

According to the type of endorsement I choose, the applicant goes to the service hall or the Construction Bank under the entry-exit administration to pay the fee for personal travel documents and the endorsement fee.

The fifth step is to submit information to the staff.

Step 6: Get the certificate

According to the regulations, the travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao will be completed within 10 working days from the date of acceptance. During the waiting period, the applicant can call the consultation number on the Receipt to inquire about the progress of the permit.

Scope of application:

You can apply for a Hong Kong-Macao Pass and endorsement according to the following conditions stipulated in Article 2 of Chapter 1 of "Regulations on the Management of Examination, Approval and Issuance of Passports between the People's Republic of China and China".

(1) Visiting relatives. Mainland residents need to visit relatives in Hong Kong or Macao under any of the following circumstances:

1, whose relatives are permanent residents or non-permanent residents of Hong Kong or Macao.

The relatives that can be visited by the permanent residents in areas where individual residents have traveled to Hong Kong or Macao (hereinafter referred to as "individual tours") are: spouses, parents and children.

Mainland residents who meet the above conditions, their spouses and children under the age of 16 may apply to visit relatives in Hong Kong or Macao.

The relatives are the staff of the Commissioner's Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hong Kong (Macao) Special Administrative Region, the liaison office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong (Macao) Special Administrative Region or the PLA troops in Hong Kong (Macao) Special Administrative Region.

(2) business. Mainland residents need to travel to or from Hong Kong or Macao for business under any of the following circumstances:

1 Mainland residents working in enterprises or other units in the Mainland are sent by their units to Hong Kong or Macao to engage in business activities.

Enterprises refer to all kinds of enterprises and their branches, resident representative offices of foreign (regional) enterprises registered in the state administration for industry and commerce and with independent legal personality.

Other units refer to: institutions registered with the competent state departments and registered with the tax authorities; Foreign (regional) news agencies in China; Embassies and consulates in China and representative offices of foreign countries (regions); Representative offices of international organizations in China; Law firms, private schools and private hospitals.

2, individual industrial and commercial operators to Hong Kong or Macao to engage in business activities.

3, driving a special vehicle to and from the mainland and Hong Kong and Macao.

(3) Team tourism. Mainland residents travel to Hong Kong or Macao by participating in a tour group organized by a designated travel agency.

(4) Personal travel. Individuals who are permanent residents in areas approved to offer "individual tours" travel to Hong Kong or Macao.

(5) short-term residence. Mainland residents may live in Hong Kong or Macao for a short period with the approval of the relevant departments of Hong Kong or Macao under any of the following circumstances:

1, holding an entry permit issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department, going to Hong Kong for study, work, training, labor service or relying on relatives.

2, was admitted to Macao universities to study in Macao.

3, approved by the Macao public security police to Macao labor, relatives with.

4, approved by the Macao Social and Cultural Department to work in Macao's science and technology, education, culture and health departments.

(6) Others. In any of the following circumstances, it is necessary to travel to or from Hong Kong or Macao:

1, Mainland residents really need to travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao for medical treatment, mourning, attending lawsuits, taking exams, personal academic exchanges, attending exhibitions, etc.

2. China citizens who have settled abroad need to travel to and from Hongkong and Macau after coming to the Mainland.

3. Mainland residents holding short-term residence endorsement passes need to travel to and from Hong Kong after entering Macao.

Some problems that should be paid attention to when going abroad.

1. Reasons for going abroad and passports. The reasons why citizens go abroad for private affairs refer to: settling down, visiting relatives, visiting friends, studying abroad, obtaining employment, traveling and engaging in business and other non-official activities. Although the reasons are different, the passports applied for are the same. The difference between various reasons is only reflected in the reasons for leaving the country on the exit registration card. Except for those who have settled abroad, all other reasons for leaving the country shall be marked as "short-term departure". In other words, "short-term departure" represents all the reasons such as visiting relatives, friends, studying abroad, employment, tourism and business activities. Therefore, the terms "study passport", "travel passport" and "business passport" are inaccurate.

By the way, the passport is valid for five years and can be extended twice for five years each time. While holding a passport, you should always pay attention to the validity period of the passport. Even if you leave or enter the country with a passport that has expired for one day, you will be ruthlessly prevented from leaving or entering the country by border inspectors.

Second, the time to apply for a passport. When you apply for a passport, except for special emergencies, you can apply for 5 working days for expedited procedures, and all others are 14 working days. 14 working days, which may actually be about 20 days. Some applicants will feel that 20 days is too long or that it is too expensive to apply for a passport because they have not planned in advance. In fact, referring to the following methods can be both convenient and fast. First, go through the entry-exit formalities at the Exit-Entry Administration Office of Beijing Public Security Bureau at No.2 Andingmen East Street in Dongcheng District on Saturday or noon. Second, get the application form and the application instructions from the exit-entry administration department of the public security sub-county bureau and more than 300 household registration police stations. For example, people living in Yanqing, Miyun and other places may only need tens of minutes to get the application form nearby, while it may take hours or even a day to get to the exit-entry management office of Beijing Public Security Bureau. Third, prepare in advance. Traveling abroad requires a certificate of deposit in the international currency equivalent to 4000 dollars in the applicant's name. Without proof of foreign exchange deposit, you can also join overseas tour groups organized by travel agencies. Therefore, if you have a deposit or prepared the expenses for traveling abroad, you have the conditions for applying for a passport for traveling abroad. If you want to travel abroad on New Year's Day, Spring Festival, May Day and November Day, you should apply a few months in advance and get a visa, so you will have plenty of time. There is no need to be in a hurry. Moreover, staggered peak hours can also save the time of waiting in line when applying or can't make it because of the limited number of tour groups. Traveling abroad is like this, and studying abroad can also be prepared early. One of the prerequisites for studying abroad is to have a considerable amount of foreign exchange, so that you can apply for a passport first. Because the commencement date is not clearly indicated in the Admission Notice, you cannot apply for expedited procedures. The condition for expediting the application for studying abroad is "the start of school is less than one month".

Third, the specifications of the photos. In the corresponding position on the application form, you need to post a recent straight-edge, bareheaded photo. Photos should be glossy paper with a white or light blue background (it must be a light blue background when wearing white clothes). Public officials do not wear standard clothes, and children do not wear red scarves. One-time snapshots, remake photos or photos printed by color printers do not meet the specification requirements.

After submitting the application form, you need to take a special passport photo in the reception hall with the Receipt of Application for Private Exit Certificate and your ID card. Therefore, applicants should pay attention to the clothes and instruments they wear when applying. Otherwise, you have to change clothes or get a haircut back and forth. In addition, passport photos taken in the reception hall cannot be provided to applicants.

Fourth, fill in the application form. The application form must be filled in black or blue-black ink, and it is forbidden to use sky blue, green or red ink. The handwriting on the application form should be clear and neat, and no alteration is allowed.

V. Translation of foreign language materials. According to the different reasons for going abroad, you need to submit the corresponding certification materials. The certification materials are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance. If it is a foreign language, it must be translated into Chinese by a designated translation company.
