Can the electronic tax bureau reissue last year's invoice?
The electronic tax bureau can make up last year's invoice. According to the Announcement of State Taxation Administration of The People's Republic of China, People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Comprehensive Service Platform for VAT Invoices (People's Republic of China (PRC) State Taxation Administration of The People's Republic of China AnnouncementNo. 1, 2020), taxpayers can apply for reissue of invoices issued last year through the comprehensive service platform for VAT invoices.

If you want to print invoices from previous years, you can follow the following steps:

1. Log in to the electronic tax bureau and select the "Invoice Management" menu.

2. On the invoice management page, select the "Get Invoice" option.

3. On the page of obtaining invoices, select the year to be printed, and then click the "Query" button.

4. The system will list all the invoice information obtained this year. You can select the invoice to print and click the "Print" button.

5. In the print page that pops up, select the printer and the number of copies to be printed, and then click the "Print" button.

Matters needing attention in issuing supplementary invoices:

1. If the invoice to be printed has expired, the system will not be able to print it.

2. If the account number of the electronic tax bureau does not have the authority to print invoices, you need to contact the tax bureau to apply.

To sum up, the electronic tax bureau can make up last year's invoices, but it needs to meet certain conditions and time constraints. Taxpayers can reissue VAT invoices through the comprehensive service platform, but they need to provide relevant supporting materials, and the number and amount of reissued invoices are limited.
