If you ask who the leader is, what office, what's the matter, and so on. You will angrily denounce convenience in a harsh tone: "I am your leader, I will call you myself, who else?" Usually this expression will make it difficult for the receiver to ask questions, because anyway, you can interview the next day and promise to make an appointment the next day. If the victim is really following up a job recently, or has just changed jobs, it is very easy to sit in the right position, thinking that the new leader wants to ask about the current project progress, or the new leader wants to interview the recruits.
Of course, I won't see you the next day-I want to add here that the first step is excusable, because I didn't get enough information, and I shouldn't be wary if I didn't see you in the second step. I answered the phone myself a few years ago. This routine was not popular at that time. The first step is to believe it. The second step is that there is no transfer at all, but I am suspicious. I'll contact the unit immediately to verify that there is no such thing.
Step two, calculate your arrival time (usually around office hours, such as 8: 30 or 9: 00), and then call to claim that the senior leaders are talking with them and ask you to wait a moment. Call after half an hour and judge whether you believe or have doubts by whether you are still in the same place. If you judge that you really still believe in his identity, ask you to give your superior a "red envelope" and ask if you have any cash. If so, lend it to him first and report it later. And clearly instruct you to go out and buy an envelope now, and put the cash in the envelope to avoid being seen-this step is the highest risk for fraudsters, and it is also the easiest to be seen through, because if the deceived person really comes to the office you mistakenly think, as long as he meets the real leader, the scam will naturally be seen through. He gambled on such a small probability event: first, you do have a superior leader, but he is very busy, and you can't see him at nine o'clock in the morning. Second, you are not familiar with your leader, you don't have your mobile phone number, and you haven't met him (assuming you are a new employee or looking for a job, you naturally don't have your mobile phone number, so you are more likely to be deceived).
So this second call is very critical. One is that he can test whether you have seen the leader, and the other is that he can judge whether you have doubts about him. If you meet a leader, of course he knows that he is a goof, and the other party will hang up immediately and leave him alone. If you have doubts about him and strongly ask about the origin, then it is impossible for him to make a remittance request under such circumstances, and he is likely to stop and concentrate his time and energy on those fat sheep who don't doubt that he is a telecom fraud.
If you find that you are still not alert and suspicious of his request to withdraw money from the bank, then he will judge that you are a fat sheep that can succeed. The next process is this: when you get the money to him, you will say at the beginning that you will pay it in person. Most victims will think that it is impossible to pay money in person in the office, and a few people with quick brains will explain why you call with a strange number mysteriously, probably because you are afraid that the money will be intercepted. No matter the leaders of companies or government agencies, there are always political enemies. It is completely understandable to use another mobile phone card to handle such hidden rules, and refusing to disclose your real name on the phone is also reasonably explained.
Now that you have left the company and gone to the bank to withdraw thousands of dollars in cash, you can't go back for five or six minutes. When the time is right, fraudsters will call or send text messages saying that it is not good to send cash to superiors in the office. After consideration, it's safer to send you the bank account number of the "superior leader" and give the other party a gift in the form of transfer. The rest of the plot can be imagined. Once the remittance is made, the other party will transfer the amount in the bank account as soon as possible, and the phone will not be connected again.
