What units and positions do civil servants include? How on earth did you take the exam?
Civil servants are scattered in nine kinds of organs, and they can apply for the exam through national examination, provincial examination, public security joint examination, Selected Graduates examination, job transfer examination and other ways.

First, introduce the concept and scope of civil servants.

According to the Civil Service Law, a civil servant refers to a staff member who holds a public office according to law and is included in the state administrative establishment, and his salary and welfare are paid by the state finance. Meanwhile, civil servants must be cadres, not workers.

The Provisions on the Scope of Civil Servants clearly defines the scope of civil servants, which is limited to the staff in the administrative establishment of the following nine categories of organs (except ground staff):

1, party newspaper organ

Including the general offices (offices) of party committees at all levels, the organs of the discipline inspection commission, the organization department, the propaganda department, the United Front Work Department, the Political and Legal Committee, and the Political Research Office.

2. Organs of people's congresses

Including the offices of people's congresses at all levels, the offices of major special committees and so on.

3. Administrative organs

Including government offices at all levels, development and reform, education, science and technology, industry and information technology, public security, civil affairs, finance, human society, housing and construction, natural resources, ecological environment and other departments.

4.CPPCC organ

Including the general offices (offices) at all levels of CPPCC, the offices of major special committees and so on.

5. Supervisory organs, that is, internal organs and agencies of supervisory committees at all levels.

6. Interrogation organs, namely courts at all levels.

7. Procuratorial organs, that is, procuratorates at all levels.

8. The organs of the democratic parties, that is, the committees at all levels of the eight major democratic parties.

9. The organs of the Federation of Industry and Commerce are the internal organs of the Federation of Industry and Commerce at all levels.

It is particularly important to note that the staff of all levels of the Federation of Trade Unions, the Youth League Committee, the Women's Federation and other institutions, such as China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission and the China Securities Regulatory Commission, also stopped recruiting after the civil service examination, but they participated in the management of public officials and did not belong to the category of civil servants.

Then, introduce how to become a civil servant.

At present, civil servants are required to take the exam for promotion, and there are mainly the following five examination methods:

1, national civil service examination

The national examination is organized by the National Civil Service Bureau, and the recruiting units include major ministries and commissions, vertical management institutions directly under the provincial level (such as county tax bureaus) and so on.

The number of applicants for the national examination is the largest among all civil service examinations, and the competitive pressure is naturally the greatest.

2, the provincial civil service examination

At present, the provincial civil service examination is mainly divided into two ways, one is the provincial examination of self-proposition in the province, and the other is the joint examination of several provincial propositions.

The provincial civil service examination is organized by the provincial civil service bureau, and the recruiting units include various organs below the provincial level, mainly county-level organs and township streets.

Relatively speaking, the provincial civil service examination is less difficult than the national examination.

3. Selected Graduates exam

Selected Graduates refers to the group that the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee selects outstanding fresh graduates from colleges and universities to the grassroots level, and generally serves as a backup candidate for leading cadres of the party and government.

The registration conditions for the Selected Graduates exam are much stricter than those for the national exam and the provincial exam: First, apply for prestigious schools, mainly referring to 985 universities and local 2 1 1 universities; The second is to require fresh graduates; The third is to require excellent performance in school; The fourth is to ask the school to recommend.

The competitive pressure of Selected Graduates test is relatively small, and the starting point after landing is relatively high, which is a better choice for proud students of prestigious schools.

4. Public security college entrance examination.

The full name of the joint entrance examination for public security colleges is the unified police recruitment examination for fresh graduates of public security majors in public security colleges across the country. After passing the exam, he will become an official people's police.

If you want to take the entrance examination of public security colleges, you must meet three conditions: first, you are required to study in public security colleges, but neither judicial police school nor political and legal police school can; Second, the public security major is required, and other majors (such as fire fighting) do not accept it; The third is to require fresh graduates, and a candidate can only participate once in his life.

The public security entrance examination is the most difficult civil service examination, with a high pass rate of about 90%. In other words, as long as the college entrance examination is admitted to the public security major of public security colleges, a group of civil servants will be simply locked.

It is worth noting that fresh graduates majoring in public security in public security colleges can only take the joint exam, and are not allowed to apply for public security posts in the national and provincial unified exams.

5. Transfer exam

The transfer exam is different from the Selected Graduates exam. It refers to an examination in which the party and government organs select outstanding talents from state-owned enterprises and institutions. After passing the examination, he shall hold the position of guidance or researcher above Grade 4.

Of course, the registration conditions are also strict. Generally, it is required to invite department-level cadres of central enterprises, provincial-level state-owned enterprises, the guidance team of municipal-level state-owned enterprises, fifth-and sixth-level staff in management positions of non-participating public institutions, or senior and deputy professional and technical personnel.

To sum up, for ordinary people, the easiest way is to take the national examination or the provincial examination. If they are the pride of famous schools or students of public security colleges, they can apply for the Selected Graduates exam or the public security joint exam.
