Once the accounting firm is informed of the violation of independence policies and procedures, it shall immediately notify the relevant project leaders and other appropriate personnel of the accounting firm, and if necessary, immediately notify the experts hired by the accounting firm and the personnel of the affiliated accounting firm so that they can take appropriate actions.
Get a written confirmation letter. An accounting firm shall obtain a written confirmation letter from all personnel subject to independence requirements at least once a year to prove that it complies with independence policies and procedures.
When other accounting firms participate in the implementation of some businesses, accounting firms may also consider asking them for a written confirmation letter on independence.
