The History of Luzhou Laojiao Tequ
The world-famous Luzhou Laojiao special song began in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. According to records, in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, the surname of Shu in Luzhou was Wu Ju, and he served as a military attache in Lueyang, Shaanxi. He appreciated the local Qu liquor very much and explored the brewing technology and equipment from many aspects. In the 14th year of Qing Shunzhi (A.D. 1657), he returned to his hometown, packed local materials such as Wannian distiller's yeast, koji medicine and clay samples in bamboo baskets, hired local technicians, and returned to Luzhou together, choosing a muddy place suitable for making wine cellars in the south of the city. The nearby "Longquan Well" is clear and sweet, which complements pit mud, so he opened a wine cellar. This is the first brewing workshop in Luzhou-Shujuyuan, and it is also the predecessor of Luzhou Qu Distillery. By the 22nd year of Qing Qianlong (A.D. 1757), the produced Qu liquor was well known.

By the sixth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (AD 1880), the annual output of Luzhou Daqu liquor had reached about 10 tons, and its reputation spread all over the country. 19 15, Luzhou Daqu Liquor participated in Panama International Expo and won the first-class gold medal and certificate of international famous wine, thus gaining international reputation. From 19 16 to 1926, it won the first prize of Nanyang Persuasion Association and the first prize of Shanghai Exhibition. However, in the long old China, the production of Luzhou Daqu liquor has not been further developed.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the scattered small rotten shops were organized into today's Luzhou Qu Distillery, and the output and quality were booming. 1952 was rated as one of the four famous wines in China at the first national wine tasting. Laojiao Tequ liquor was rated as one of the eight famous wines in China by 1953, and won the title of national famous wine and gold medal at the fifth national wine tasting.

Luzhou Laojiao Tequ liquor is not only deeply loved by the masses in China, but also sells well in Europe and Asia, and is generally welcomed, especially by people in Southeast Asia and overseas Chinese.
