The qualification of high-tech enterprises shall take effect from the date of issuance of the certificate and shall be valid for three years. High-tech enterprises refer to enterprises that have been registered in China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) for more than one year by continuously developing research and development and transforming technological achievements in high-tech fields supported by the state, forming independent intellectual property rights of enterprises, and carrying out production and business activities on this basis. It mainly includes eight fields: electronic information technology, biology and new medicine technology, aerospace technology, new material technology, high-tech service industry, new energy and energy-saving technology, resources and environment technology and manufacturing and automation. Is it necessary to re-evaluate after the expiration date? The qualification of high-tech enterprises shall take effect from the date of issuance of the certificate and shall be valid for three years. In other words, the validity period of high-tech enterprises is three years. After the expiration of the validity period, it is not necessary to identify high-tech enterprises first, but it can be reviewed. The Guide to the Identification of High-tech Enterprises clearly stipulates that enterprises should apply for reexamination within months after the expiration of the qualification of high-tech enterprises (application for reexamination is attached 2). Those who do not apply for review or fail to pass the review will automatically lose their high-tech enterprise qualification. The evaluation of high-tech enterprises shall submit reports on technological activities such as research and development in the last three fiscal years, and special audit reports on the research and development expenses and income of high-tech products (services) in the last three fiscal years issued by intermediaries that meet the relevant conditions of these guidelines. When reviewing, it shall be reviewed in accordance with the provisions of Article 10 of the Identification Measures, and the fourth paragraph shall be reviewed. For qualified enterprises, publicity and filing shall be carried out in accordance with Item (4) of Article 11, and the high-tech enterprise certificate shall be re-issued by the accreditation body (with the official seals of the departments of science and technology, finance and taxation). The qualification of high-tech enterprises that have passed the evaluation shall be valid for three years from the date of issuing the Certificate of High-tech Enterprises. That is to say, after the review, you can still enjoy the treatment of high-tech enterprises for three years, but you can't conduct a second review after three years, and you need to re-identify. The requirements for re-identification are the same as those for secondary high-tech enterprises.
