The birth of "Ten Send to the Red Army" originated from a special urgent task-creating "Singing Revolutionary Historical Songs". This performance was later called the "pre-creation" of the large-scale music and dance epic Dongfanghong by Premier Zhou Enlai, and many of its works were included in Dongfanghong.
