The person in charge of the enterprise that declares the honorary title of the March 8th Red Flag Bearer must be approved by the departments of industry and commerce, taxation, labor security, safety supervision and environmental protection at or above the local county (city). State-owned and state-holding enterprises and their responsible persons shall be examined and approved by the auditing, discipline inspection and supervision departments. Leading cadres of party and government organs and people's organizations shall be approved by relevant organizations and personnel departments in accordance with their management authority.

Basic conditions for the March 8th red flag bearer:

(1) Female citizens of People's Republic of China (PRC) who have reached the age of 18.

(two) love the party, love the motherland, love socialism, resolutely support the party's line, principles and policies, and abide by national laws and regulations.

(3) Have a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values, be virtuous and willing to contribute, and have a feminine spirit of "self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement".

(four) love their jobs, shoulder heavy burdens, work hard, be determined to innovate, create first-class performance in their jobs and make outstanding contributions.

Leading cadres of party and government organs and people's organizations shall be approved by relevant organizations and personnel departments in accordance with their management authority.
