Since 20 15, 1 1, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China and the State Administration of Taxation have issued the Implementation Measures for the Professional Qualification Examination for Tax Agents. There are no primary, intermediate and advanced qualification examinations for tax agents, only tax agents.

The tax accountant qualification examination consists of five subjects: tax law (1), tax law (2), tax-related service practice, tax-related service-related laws and financial accounting. The examination time for each subject is two and a half hours, with a full score of 140.

The assessment results shall be managed in a rolling way for a period of five years. Those who have participated in all (five) subject examinations for five consecutive examination years and passed them can obtain the professional qualification certificate of tax agents.
