1. Shanxi Provincial Taxation College is the only college in North China that trains advanced applied financial management talents. The school is located in the south of Yingze West Street in Taiyuan City, on the west bank of Fenhe River with beautiful scenery, adjacent to Taiyuan University of Technology, the only "2 1 1" college in Shanxi Province.

2. Changzhi Vocational and Technical College was formed in September, 2000 by the merger of former Changzhi Staff University, Southeast Shanxi Coal Mine School and Changzhi Agricultural School. It belongs to a local higher vocational and technical college, authorized by the State Council, approved by Shanxi provincial government first, and put on record by the State Council.

3. Shanxi Art Vocational College is the first higher art vocational college in China approved by Shanxi Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education on September 2 1 2000. The main campus of the college is located at No.95 Bingzhou East Street, Taiyuan City, and the Binhe Campus is located in Binhe Garden, Wangjing Road, Taiyuan City. West Garden Campus is located in Yingze West Street.

Shanxi Art Vocational College was founded in 195 1, with Li Qun, a people's artist and a famous printmaker of Shanxi Art School, as its first president. 1958, the undergraduate level was upgraded to Shanxi Art College. Since then, it has been divided and renamed several times.
