Yiling District, which belongs to Yichang City, Hubei Province, is located in the transition zone from the mountainous area in western Hubei to Jianghan Plain, on both sides of the Xiling Gorge of the Yangtze River, with latitude11051'~1139' and latitude 30 32'.
