Advantages:

1. The salary is good. The national tax system belongs to the national civil servants, and wages and benefits are guaranteed by the state, which is basically not affected by local fiscal revenue. Except in areas with particularly developed economies, the salaries and benefits of civil servants in the national tax system are higher than those of local civil servants.

2. There is little overtime. On the whole, civil servants in the national tax system can basically enjoy normal weekends and holidays, and rarely work overtime. Of course, if you work in an office, you will still work overtime occasionally. The overtime work of local civil servants is everywhere, especially those who work in township party committees and governments, and they can't take all holidays.

3. Less responsibility and less pressure. Compared with local civil servants, civil servants in the national tax system have less responsibilities and risks, and the work pressure is much lighter, which is typical of "more money and less things".

Disadvantages:

1. There is little room for promotion. The national tax system is a top-down management mechanism, which is directly managed by the higher-level national tax department. Therefore, there is almost no personnel exchange with other government departments at the local level, and rank promotion and job arrangement can only be carried out within the system. Limited by the number of positions, there is little room for improvement. Many people can only be an ordinary staff member in the county IRS all their lives, even if they are promoted to the level of minor subjects, it is very difficult.

2. The circle is relatively small. The business of national tax is self-contained, relatively independent and less in contact with other units. In particular, specific business departments have less contact with other units. This will make the personal working circle and making friends circle become very small, thus affecting the construction of social relations.
