Maternity insurance belongs to compulsory insurance, which is paid by the employer, and the employer must pay it, but the individual can't pay it. Maternity insurance is a social policy to protect the rights and interests of female employees by national legislation, and it can be enjoyed regardless of whether the fetus is born normally or not, even if the fetus dies or miscarries.
Before enjoying the maternity allowance, the unit needs to apply for maternity insurance for you, and it needs to prepare three forms, a summary table of basic pension, work injury and maternity insurance declaration for enterprise employees, a social security registration form, and an increase or decrease table of pension, work and maternity insurance personnel. These three forms are prepared by the enterprise;
The unit holds these three forms to the social labor insurance department for declaration, and the labor insurance department will return two stamped forms after accepting them;
Wait until next month, the unit can pay the maternity insurance fee for the new employees normally, and this will be paid by the tax department;
Apply for a medical certificate: after pregnancy, the employer will bring relevant materials to the social labor insurance department for processing;
After giving birth to a child, the female employee shall submit materials to the social labor insurance department for insurance payment before the maternity leave expires within 30 days (pay attention to the time, it is more troublesome to handle it after the deadline);
The materials for insurance payment mainly include: the birth status table of employees in urban enterprises, identification information, birth certificate, hospital medical certificate, medical settlement list, etc.
