Temporary call-up Temporary conscription is mainly from local temporary conscription and direct transformation of prisoners of war. After the war, the soldiers suffered great losses, that is, they could be temporarily recruited from local areas. The temporary recruits had the disadvantage that they could not be put into battle immediately, and they needed to be trained before they could be put into battle. Temporary enlistment can also be divided into active and passive enlistment. For example, during the War of Liberation, the people in the liberated areas rushed to sign up for the army, while Jiang Jun could only supplement his troops by arresting able-bodied men. Compared with temporary recruitment, the direct transformation of prisoners of war can be directly put into the battlefield, eliminating the steps of recruit training.
Transfer from reserve to active service. After the war, the active troops entered the state of combat readiness, while the reserve troops can be converted into active troops and put into the battlefield at any time according to the battlefield situation. The reserve forces can go into battle directly with little or no training, and they are also the second echelon personnel who go into battle after the war. For example, in the military conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the soldiers of the two countries suffered heavy losses, and the reserve troops had to be fully equipped to fight.
Recall retired soldiers. Servicemen are generally required to serve in the reserve after retirement. The age of the reserve is 35 years old, and then they will retire from the reserve. But if there is a war, the call will come back, and when that day really comes, the oath of retirement will become a reality. As long as the motherland calls, every retired soldier can throw himself into the battle without hesitation, even those who are over reserve age.
To sum up, there are three main ways to replenish soldiers in the war, namely, temporary recruitment, transfer from reserve to active service and recall of retired soldiers.
