Apply to the police station where the household registration is located with the household registration book.

Article 10 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Resident Identity Cards stipulates: To apply for a resident identity card, one should fill in the Registration Form for Resident Identity Card Application and submit the residence booklet for examination.

Article 7 stipulates that a citizen shall, within three months from the date of reaching the age of 16, apply to the public security organ where the permanent residence is located for obtaining the resident status.

Certificate. Citizens under the age of sixteen shall apply for resident identity cards on their behalf by guardians.
