The Personnel Bureau is a functional department of the government, which consists of the establishment committee office, the post reform office, the salary unit, the personnel deployment unit, the archives unit, the talent exchange center and the human resources department. In the institutional reform of the State Council in 2008, the Personnel Bureau and the Labor Bureau merged into the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, referred to as the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
Implement the national civil service system, and be responsible for the job classification, examination and recruitment, assessment, job promotion and demotion, rewards and punishments, wages and benefits, retirement and power protection of civil servants in state organs throughout the county.
