Interview experience in software industry companies

Let me briefly introduce myself. I have two years of development experience based on J2EE. The technical level is average. In the past two years, I have mainly been engaged in the development of the tax industry, and I resigned at the end of August. To be honest, when I left the company, I was 1/3 grateful, 1/3 nostalgic, and 1/3 complaining. I am grateful that this is my first time in the company, and I have gained a lot in terms of technology, people, and ways of doing things. Nostalgia is the comrade who worked hard all night long in the past. As for complaining, it's better not to talk about it.

The first company: Rongbo Interview

In fact, although Rongbo Company is not part of the establishment of China Merchants Bank, it has a good reputation in the IT industry. And I saw that the building of Rongbo Company is relatively new and distinctive. Gives people an invisible yearning. Let’s talk about the written test. I was still busy handing over work in the company at the time, so was I fully prepared? As soon as I got the question from Rongbo, I was confused. Topics include: operating system, data structure, database, C, C++, Java, English questions, Sockect communication, software engineering? Even if you have enough time, you may not necessarily finish it yourself. Of course, the results of the written test were all confused? It failed like this for the first time.

The second company: Shenzhen Securities Information Interview

This company mainly works with some supervisors of a certain exchange to produce the program on X day. The company is quite large. This time I was somewhat prepared. However, there are still some questions that have not been completed in the written examination. In the exam, I took some basic Java questions. As well as some management issues and Sockect communication issues. The exam was average. But this time it was better than the last time, and I finally got a chance to interview. The interview went fairly smoothly. The interviewer finally concluded that I have passed this test, and the general manager will be able to confirm whether you can make an offer after the interview. Then there is the word "etc". Three weeks have passed? In fact, now that I think about it, am I asking for too high a salary? Asking for 4K after taxes. Or has the company HR contacted the HR of the previous company and told the current company about his performance in the past company, after all, his performance in the previous company was average?

The third company: Ping An interview

I have a good impression of Ping An, and I have personally experienced Ping An’s development scale. It's just too big. The working environment is relatively bright and spacious, and the development team has many people and is relatively standardized. I found a computer there to try. The exams were JAVA, software engineering, and database. The questions were a bit difficult for me. After finishing JAVA, there is an EQ question and an IQ question. After doing it for 2 hours, I also spent a lot of energy on myself. Finally, I was notified that I failed the JAVA written test, with only 48 points. Later, the lady from the human resources department sent me downstairs. When she came downstairs, the lady said: "Technical training may take about 60 or 50 minutes." The other questions are not very high, it seems that you can pass with 7. ?Hey, I was wiped out in the first round again.

The fourth company: Huawei interview

Before I graduated, Huawei was a palace and a grand ceremony for technicians. Before graduation, I dreamed of joining Huawei. The boss got up early and took a long taxi ride to reach the gate of Huawei R&D Center. At first, the job fair hadn't started yet, so I had to wait outside the iron gate. But it turns out that I am not lonely either. There are a large number of applicants standing at the door. It happened to be Huawei employees' working hours, and dozens of buses stopped at the door. Huawei employees walked into the big iron gate with a bang. At this time, someone suddenly shouted at the door: Applicants, please come and line up. Next, Niu B's security guard left his ID card in front of him and put a label on his chest. This situation reminds me of factories and migrant workers.

The interview was held in a Huawei canteen. First, I made a JAVA paper. The questions in it were relatively basic, such as internal classes, I/O operations, threads, etc. There are no programming questions, and there is one error correction question. After completing the questions, there will be two rounds of technical interviews. After the two-part technical interview, you will fill in a job application form and some similar EQ questions. In the afternoon there were some interviews with the human resources department. Personal feeling: Huawei's recruitment process is relatively professional and formal. The questions asked by the interviewer are also relatively professional and high-level. I could only stay up until the afternoon, and unfortunately I was eliminated in the afternoon. I was exhausted when I got home. The interview was much more tiring than working.

The fifth company: Runxin Technology Interview

This company is located in the Industrial Building of South China Normal University in Guangzhou. The company is engaged in banking business. There are branches in Chengdu, Shanghai and Xiamen. To be honest, this company is really small in an industrial building. After going there, I did a set of technical questions as usual. Afterwards, a manager in charge of human resources will interview you and learn about some basic information, projects you have worked on, etc. An architect will then meet with you for an interview. The architect is quite good, and he asked a lot of questions at the beginning. He asked some questions about spring, EJB, session storage mechanism, etc.

I could answer it at first, but as he asked more and more questions, I recited what I had read in some technical books but didn't fully understand as a reply. Of course, the more I answered, the more confused I got, and the final result was?

Sitting on the train back to Shenzhen, the more I thought about it, the more I felt something was wrong. Why did the architect know that I was endorsing it? What did he understand wrong? I took out his business card from my pocket: Luo Shifei. When I got home and checked GOOGLE, I was suddenly shocked. Back to the room, I took out a few books and checked: "Author: Luo Shifei". Wow, I'm actually doing something crazy this afternoon. I really dare not underestimate it. This small company is actually a bit hidden.

The sixth company: Zhongyou Interactive Interview

Zhongyou Interactive is an online dating company, and it can also be regarded as an online marriage agency. The company is located in the northern part of Science and Technology, in the Tsinghua Tongfang Information Building. The company is newly moved in. After entering the company, I waited at the front desk for a few hours. Then the interviewer will lead you into the office. Once you enter, there are 20 or 30 computers in the office, which looks a bit like an Internet cafe. The people sitting in front of the computer were all girls. The computer screen is almost like a QQ chat room. The girls were typing furiously on the keyboard, probably this was their job responsibility.

Let’s talk about the interview. The interview was in a quiet room and the interviewer was very cool. This interview was the shortest and also the most unsuccessful, only 5 minutes.

First question: Please introduce yourself and the projects you have worked on?

Second question: Tell us about the internationalization of STRUTS?

--I reluctantly said it.

The third question: Can you program SOCKECT?

--Don't understand

The fourth question: What are the restrictions on GROUP BY in SQL?

--Forgot

The fifth question: Do you know Linux? Can you write SHELL?

--Never used it, only used AIX. The shell is written very little.

Question 6: What is the expected salary?

--3K

Then he said, go back and wait for notification.

I was extremely depressed. I looked at my watch and it was only 9:35, and I had just arrived at 9:30. It took an hour and a half of driving to get here. Now sit back for another hour and a half.

The seventh company: Boke Interview

Needless to say, this company is somewhat similar to Rongbo, and is the software center of Bank of China. It is difficult to find the Shenzhen Development Center. It is located behind the Agricultural Bank of China in Science and Technology Park. The written test consists of basic JAVA questions, English questions and logical reasoning questions. The written test is not difficult. If you pass the written test, you will be notified of an interview within a week. The interview is mainly one person facing several interviewers. The interview basically didn't ask any technical questions. I learned some basic information and it was relatively easy. After the interview, you will fill out a job application form, and then come back and wait for news. Don't quite understand the reason. It has been over a week now with no further notification. I guess there is no chance, I really don’t know why I was eliminated, I am a bit unwilling.

The eighth company: Beijing Yicheng Interview

The company is relatively well-known in the banking industry, and it is almost a monopoly on certain businesses. The main customers are China Construction Bank and Bank of Communications. The exam location is Guangdong Building, Tianhe Software Park. For me, an experienced interviewer, the exam is not difficult. The topics are mainly algorithms, some J2EE technical topics, OOP ideas, SQL and other topics. If you pass the exam, you will have an interview opportunity one week later. The interview took place at the Guangzhou CCB Development Center, where the company has a development team of nearly 40 people. Here we are mainly responsible for the development of online banking. The working environment is quite good. The interviewer was friendly and asked a lot of questions about technology, project experience, personal development, etc. It can be said that the interview went smoothly. The final conditions offered were: around 3.5K, including meal subsidy, communication fee subsidy, five insurances, double salary plus bonus at the end of the year, etc. They said: 3.5K is pretty good in Guangzhou. I didn’t have much objection to the salary, but I didn’t confirm my place of residence in Guangzhou and was waiting for notification from Boko, so I didn’t dare to agree. I feel a little regretful now.

? Fifth company: Interview with Runxin Technology

This company is located in the Industrial Building of South China Normal University in Guangzhou. The company is engaged in banking business. We have branches in Chengdu, Shanghai and Xiamen. To be honest, this company is really small in an industrial building. After going there, I did a set of technical questions as usual. I was extremely depressed. I looked at my watch and it was only 9:35, and I had just arrived at 9:30. It took an hour and a half of driving to get here. Now sit back for another hour and a half.

The ninth company: Huaan Interview

Huaan and Ping An belong to the same industry. The company's information department is not very large, with only 4 or 5 people, and is in the development stage. But the company has many systems. According to the introduction, in the past, the company's systems were developed by other companies. My ex’s company is actually one of the developers. Now the company is preparing to take over some systems and develop them itself. Let’s talk about the written test questions, mainly IQ and logic questions. There are also some conceptual questions about OOA and OOP, and there is a program question about writing the output results. It's about static classes and constructors. The big question is about the design description of the projects you have done. After the written test, there will be an interview immediately, and the interview will be with his boss. The boss has a wide range of knowledge and knows a lot about technology. He asked a lot of questions and chatted for more than half an hour. Looking back now, I may have been too honest and too young during the interview. I even told him the name of the project manager of my previous company, and he wrote it down in his notebook. Then he asked me to go to the human resources department, fill out the job application form and interview with the human resources department. Finally, the human resources department asked me to bring some personal information next time and leave it for her. Who would have thought that next time it would just be the word "wait".

In fact, when I think back now, it is probably because the company inquired about my personal situation at the previous company, and the evaluation of the previous company was not very good. This is also speculation.

The tenth company: Yishige Mianjing

The company mainly integrates systems, similar to middleware products such as WEB SERVICE. Headquartered in Beijing, the Shenzhen company is a branch and was established just about a month ago. The Shenzhen branch is relatively small, with about 10 people. The customers are mainly in Hong Kong, such as Hong Kong Airport, Hong Kong Stock Exchange, etc. It sounds pretty cool, but I need to travel to Hong Kong for work. The English requirements are relatively high, because the technology they use is almost never used in China, and the materials are all in English. Have certain ability to learn and adapt. A passport is required. Process: Written test and technical interview. The written test is easy. The technical interviewer is a woman who is very talkative.

No. 11: Xinke Information Interview

Xinke is a well-known software outsourcing company in Singapore. The company's business is mainly concentrated in Singapore, but also in Hong Kong and the Middle East. The decoration of this company is very unique and unique, but the light is a bit dim. Before the written test, you will first be notified to fill in some personal information on the company website. All information should be filled in English. Then I went to the company to take a computer test. The computer test was so accurate that I vomited blood.

All the questions are in English. The questions are relatively difficult. I can't understand several questions. After you are done, you will be asked to wait for the results. After passing the written examination, there will be two rounds of intense technical interviews and one round of HR department interviews. The technical interview has English questions. Then wait for the OFFER. If you receive the OFFER, you will need to undergo a physical examination and obtain a passport application receipt to be counted as a position. The trial period is 3 to 6 months.

At present, they informed me to revise my personal English information. It is estimated that the results will be available after the National Day at the earliest. Have a good National Day. I hope it's not an endless wait this time.

Summary: Interviewing with eleven companies in one month, I have a lot of taste in my heart. The lessons I can share with you are: prepare well, respond flexibly, and stay vigilant.

Respond flexibly: When it comes to technical interviews, try to guide the interviewer to your areas of expertise. If you are asked about something you don’t understand, you need to answer it honestly. In fact, I don’t want to talk more about project experience, the popular Kaiyuan framework, etc.

Stay vigilant: It refers to the human resources interview. Personal feeling: The human resources interviewers put it lightly, they are all good people. Their problems all have traps.

For example: Why did you leave the company? What are your goals for the next two to three years? What is your greatest sense of accomplishment? What was the biggest difficulty you encountered and how did you overcome it?
