The development of history
The name Dongsheng comes from the ancient name "Shengzhou". "Victory" is the decisive victory, and victory in the east is in the east of the original.
After thirty years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1904), most pastures were reclaimed, and a large number of Han people from Shaanxi and Shanxi entered the original area. In the thirty-third year of Guangxu (1907), Dongsheng Hall was set up to manage the affairs of Han people in Junwang and Zazak Banner, and moved to Guisui Road, Shanxi Province. In the third year of Xuantong (19 1 1), the Revolution of 1911 broke out, and the revolutionary army merged Dongsheng Hall, Wuyuan Hall and Baotou Town into Dongbao House, which was re-established soon.
In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), Dongshengtang was changed to Dongsheng County and Shanxi was transferred as an observer. In the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), Jin and Sui were divided and the Lishuiyuan Special Administrative Region of Dongsheng County was established. 17 (1928), Suiyuan special administrative region was changed into a province, and Dongsheng county was established as a water source province.
1949, Suiyuan "September 19th" uprising was peacefully liberated. At the end of 1949, Dongsheng was changed from Suiyuan to Yike Zhaomeng. 1954, Suiyuan Province was merged into Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. 1983 Withdraw counties and set up cities. 200 1, the prefecture-level Ordos city was established, and the original county-level Dongsheng city was changed to Dongsheng District.
