Xishan District belongs to Kunming, Yunnan Province, and is the political center of Yunnan Province. Located in the northwest bank of Dianchi Lake, west of Kunming City. It is adjacent to Dianchi Lake in the east, facing Guandu District and Chenggong District across the sea, connected with Wuhua District, and adjacent to Guandu District and Songming County in the northeast corner. Jinning County in the south, Anning and Lufeng in the west and Fumin County in the north, with a total area of 88 1 km2. By 2020, Xishan District will have 10 streets. In 2020, the registered population of Xishan District was 576,400. Xishan District is named after Xishan in China. 1956 the eighth district of Kunming and District 9 were abolished and Xishan district was established.
