Brief introduction of Cangshan town
Cangshan Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Zhongjiang County, Deyang City, Sichuan Province. Located at the southernmost tip of Zhongjiang County, 70 kilometers away from the county seat, at the junction of Zhongjiang, Daying, Lezhi and Jintang. Jurisdiction over Cangshan, Pagoda, Qilong and Huashi Town. The town covers an area of 125.4 square kilometers, and has jurisdiction over 40 administrative villages, 2 neighborhood committees and 560 cooperatives. 1996 was approved by the provincial government as a pilot town for the construction of small towns in Sichuan Province, a pilot town for the construction of small towns in China in 2002 and the first batch of provincial key small towns in July 2003. Cangshan Town has two offices in Cangshan and Longhuai, 18 administrative villages and 4 neighborhood committees, which are 72 kilometers away from the county seat, with an area of 38 square kilometers and a population of 36,800. Dacheng Railway, 106 Ring Road and 3 18 National Highway pass through the town, where Luogui Road and Canghuai Road meet. Cangshan Town is located in the shallow hilly area in the northwest of the basin, with subtropical monsoon climate, fertile land, abundant rainfall and four distinct seasons. Yongjiang river twists and turns in the territory, nourishing a lot of fertile soil, which makes Cangshan known as the small western Sichuan. Oil, natural gas, shale and salt are also abundant.
