Zhangzhou Institute of Science and Technology is located in Tianfu Cultural Industrial Park, Pantuo Tea Culture Town, Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou City, adjacent to National Highway 324 (Xiamen-Shenzhen High-speed Railway Zhangpu Station). It is a non-profit vocational college founded in 2007 by Mr. Li Ruihe, the famous Taiwanese businessman, the world tea king, Rentian Group and Tianfu Group.

The school covers an area of 1 100 mu, with a school building area of 279,000 square meters.
