Because Zhonghua Certified Public Accountants (hereinafter referred to as "Zhonghua Firm") failed to perform its duties diligently in the process of auditing, it was twice punished by the CSRC in 2023. The Ministry of Finance and the CSRC decided to order it to suspend undertaking new securities business from May 28, 2023, which eventually led to the closure of Zhonghua Certified Public Accountants. Therefore, Zhonghua Certified Public Accountants closed down because it failed to do its duty diligently.
