I. Introduction

My major: automation.

Analysis of automation specialty and employment prospect

Automation major is to cultivate engineering technical foundation and certain professional knowledge in a wide range of fields, such as electrical technology, electronic technology, control theory, automatic detection and instrument, information processing, system engineering, computer technology and application, and network technology. Can be engaged in motion control, industrial process control, power electronics technology, detection and automation instruments, electronics and computer technology, information processing, management and decision-making and other fields of system analysis, system design, system operation, scientific and technological development and research.

Automation can be divided into many directions, such as mechanical automation, electrical automation, computer automation, thermal automation (power plant, metallurgy), industrial electrical automation, chemical automation and so on. Different majors offer different courses to cultivate talents needed in related fields.

The hot topic of automation mainly focuses on the development and application of automation control system, from the past single-loop control system and multi-loop control system to the present distributed control system, computer integrated control system and field bus control system. Each system has different positioning in different fields.

After graduation, students can engage in technical work in automatic control, automation, signal and data processing and computer application. Employment fields are also very extensive, including high-tech companies, research institutes, design units, universities, financial systems, communication systems, taxation, foreign trade, industry and commerce, railways, civil aviation, customs, industrial and mining enterprises, government and science and technology departments.

Graduates of this major have a wide range of employment channels, because automation technology is widely used and employment fields are diverse. Because of this, some students tend to have the psychology of "the emperor's daughter doesn't worry about getting married" when choosing a job, thinking that their automation major is in short supply and the social demand is large, so the work unit can choose according to their own needs. Although the current student employment policy is a "two-way" choice, you choose the employer, but the employer is also choosing you. Therefore, don't put on an air of "Lao Zi is the best in the world" and feel great about yourself, which will only arouse the resentment of the employer and even eventually refuse to hire you. Modesty, steadiness and sureness are the first choice for graduates of this major to choose a job. Judging from the employment situation of graduates in recent years, their jobs are ideal and their income is quite optimistic.

In recent years, with the help of invigorating the market economy and deepening opening to the outside world, industries related to the employment field of this major have also developed rapidly. Civil aviation, railway, finance, communication system, taxation, customs and other departments are becoming more and more automated, and scientific research institutes and high-tech companies are also developing rapidly with the help of strong talent advantages. In the future, with the expansion of the application field of automation technology, the demand for professionals will continue to increase, and graduates majoring in automation will also find an ideal position to play their expertise in all fields of social life and all aspects of economic development with the help of the wide application of this technology.

Second, career goals.

(1) (2010 ~ 2014) During my college years:

Freshman: To accumulate all kinds of knowledge, pay attention to the study of public platforms and basic courses, and lay a solid foundation, especially English and computer, you need to persist and accumulate every day, and strive to pass the CET-4, Jiangsu Province or the national computer level 2 exam. In addition, I teach myself financial professional knowledge, and borrow relevant books from the library for self-study. The self-study courses are: western economics, international finance, monetary banking, introduction to world economy, financial engineering, international insurance, trust leasing, corporate finance, securities investment, business management of commercial banks, financial statistical analysis, international settlement, international economic law, and international trade theory and practice.

Sophomore, in order to improve personal ability, study professional courses, choose finance as the second major, actively practice and practice, and strive to pass the CET-6, Jiangsu Province or the national computer secondary examination.

In the third year, in the stage of personality development, we should actively improve our own quality, actively deepen the study of professional courses, understand the professional requirements related to postgraduate entrance examination, and selectively participate in the "certificate" examination of some social organizations.

Note: Sophomore and junior students need to study automation subjects seriously: circuit, automatic control theory, C/C++, DSP/PLC/ single chip microcomputer.

Senior year: the process of further improving and upgrading personal comprehensive quality and ability, especially the ability to comprehensively apply professional knowledge and independently carry out related professional work.

Kenichi (learning period): Pay attention to the study of basic knowledge, be sure to be solid and broaden your knowledge at the same time.

Study 2: the third semester-the collection of papers and the writing semester of topics.

In this semester, I began to enter the writing stage of my thesis. This requires data collection and some experiments. During this period, we must seize the time to learn and collect more information, understand this knowledge and set the framework of the paper. According to the experience of previous seniors, you should start writing and publishing small papers at this stage, so as to ensure that you can see the officially published papers when you graduate.

The fourth semester-the semester of writing papers and thinking about choosing a job.

This semester, my energy should mainly focus on thesis writing. A well-written paper can exercise the ability of organization and time arrangement. Another point is to start thinking about choosing a job. At this time, through their own personality and full understanding of knowledge content. And through the understanding of various employment standards, you can initially estimate which cities and industries you will enter in the future.

Study 3: the fifth semester-publishing research papers: the focus of work should be on research work, and the thesis will be published after considerable research progress or achievements have been made in the topic selection of the dissertation.

Sixth semester-writing thesis defense: At the beginning of the semester, the first draft of the thesis will be revised and polished, and the thesis defense will be completed before mid-June. The main achievements of master's degree thesis should reach the level of public publication as far as possible. As a master of engineering, the work of the thesis should focus on application or applied basic research, emphasizing the training of basic skills, analysis and problem solving, and expression (written and oral) ability in the research process. These aspects can be best reflected in my thesis.

Third, the medium-term preparation for achieving the ultimate goal:

(1)(20 17~2020) Employment period:

The first year of work: start from a small staff, never complain or give up, treat every task with the most serious working attitude, actively advise the company with your own financial knowledge, analyze people's demand for products from the perspective of economics, and thus determine the direction of product development and price positioning.

Second year of work: after getting familiar with the company, while completing this task, make use of the conditions provided by the company to independently study the products and report the results to the company in time (if it can be recognized by the company, it will be better, if not, continue to improve the products and accept other people's opinions)

The third year of work: As the last year of staying in the company, I may be promoted by the company because of my outstanding performance, but pursuing my dream is my ultimate goal. Therefore, in this year, I began to prepare for starting a business (starting a business while working), developing entrepreneurial resources from interpersonal resources, material resources, spiritual resources (support from family and friends), and at the same time understanding the direction of starting a business: 1, research. 2. Choose a product that you have the ability to develop and have a good development prospect from several related products, and take the development of this product as the direction.

Fourth, the late preparation to achieve the ultimate goal:

If you want to succeed in starting a business, you should not only learn from the experience of successful people in the past, but also be creative. We should pay attention to the following points: 1. Pay attention to and evaluate our financial ability. An enterprise is composed of talents, products and funds, and its own funds are insufficient, which often leads to the excessive burden of entrepreneurs' interests and the inability to achieve a complete career. Therefore, we should have the concept of "how much we can do with our own strength" and don't operate with excessive debt; Enterprises should be "big" rather than "big". "Big" means gradually expanding after making a profit, and "big" means desperately borrowing money. Only an empty shell is not practical, and it is bound to fail when it encounters risks. To control the flow of funds, use limited money on the cutting edge. 2. To plan the development of an enterprise for a long time, "stability" is always more important than "long". Therefore, running a marathon requires endurance and preparation, step by step, and no short-term speculation. Third, a well-researched enterprise must adapt to the market trend. Before starting a business, you need to do a good job in the market research of your own city: which companies are similar to their peers, citizens' demand for products, regional differences in the market, and market demand brought about by changes in people's lifestyles and life concepts. Fourth, enterprises that seek survival first, seek survival first and then development, lay a solid foundation, and don't aim too high, covet performance and ignore risks. They must pay attention to the commercial constitution, step by step, seek to create profits, and then expand their operations. V. Elite Attack The initial scale of the company must be streamlined, efficient, and substance-oriented, strive to increase business volume, and do not blindly pursue superficial glitz, so as not to increase costs. 6. If you want to have willpower, annual plans, goals and ideals, you must have strong patience and willpower to implement them. The more frustrated you are, the braver you are, and you will never stop until you reach your goal. Seven, strategic alliance entrepreneurship should emphasize strategy, small enterprises need to form an alliance with the industry, that is, in addition to their own products, with the promotion of other related products. Combining related industries in the way of "strategic alliance" can not only improve the attractiveness of products, meet the needs of customers, but also increase their competitiveness and income. Eight, forward-looking planning business philosophy, business policy, business strategy need to be carefully planned, combined with wisdom and strength, to lay a good foundation for the enterprise. In short, before starting a business, you should adjust your psychology, do a good job of self-evaluation and know whether you are suitable for starting a business. Once you embark on the road of entrepreneurship, you must work hard and master the principles of entrepreneurship.
