According to the Notice of Qujing Municipal Committee Office of Qujing Municipal People's Government Office on Printing and Distributing the Implementation Opinions of Qujing Municipal People's Government on Institutional Reform (Qu Ban Fa [2010] No.43), Qujing Municipal Education Bureau was established as a component of Qujing Municipal People's Government, at the level.

The Bureau has 17 internal organs (official departments):

There are three institutions:

Qujing Institute of Educational Science, Qujing Telephone Education Museum, Qujing Education Press. There are 9 directly affiliated schools: Qujing No.1 Middle School, Qujing No.2 Middle School, Qujing Ethnic Middle School, Qujing Special Education School, Qujing No.1 Primary School, Qujing No.2 Primary School, Qujing No.1 Kindergarten, Qujing No.2 Kindergarten and Qujing Government Kindergarten.

Qujing Education Bureau has set up a Party Committee, with Party Secretary 1 name, Party Deputy Secretary 1 name and 7 Party Committee members. The administrative establishment of the agency is 5 1 person, including: director 1 person, 5 deputy directors, secretary of the discipline inspection commission 1 person (deputy department level), and 25 department-level leadership positions (including the number of retirees' office leadership positions with tags 1 person).

Qujing Education Bureau is located at No.69 Cuifeng Road, Qilin District, Qujing City, next to Qujing Economic and Technological Development Zone.

Main responsibilities:

(a) the implementation of the party and the state's educational principles, policies, laws and regulations, the implementation of provincial and municipal decisions on education, the development of the city's education reform and policies, and supervise the implementation.

(two) responsible for the overall planning and coordinated management of all kinds of education at all levels. In conjunction with relevant departments, formulate standards for the establishment of schools at all levels, guide the education and teaching reform of schools at all levels, and be responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of basic education information.

(three) responsible for promoting the balanced development of compulsory education and promoting education equity, responsible for the macro guidance and coordination of compulsory education, and guiding the work of ordinary high school education, preschool education and special education. Draw up the evaluation standards, basic teaching requirements and basic teaching documents of basic education, organize the examination and approval of local curriculum materials at the municipal level in primary and secondary schools, and fully implement quality education.

(four) to guide the education supervision work, to be responsible for organizing and guiding the supervision, inspection, evaluation and acceptance of secondary and below secondary education and eliminating illiteracy among young people, and to guide the monitoring of the development level and quality of basic education.

(five) to guide the development and reform of employment-oriented vocational education, formulate teaching guidance documents and teaching evaluation standards for secondary vocational education, and guide the construction of teaching materials and vocational guidance for secondary vocational education.

(six) responsible for the overall management of education funds in this department, to participate in the formulation of education fund raising, education funding, education infrastructure investment policies, and to be responsible for the statistics of education funds investment.

(seven) to guide the ideological and political work and moral education of schools at all levels, to guide the sports health, art education and national defense education of schools at all levels, to guide the off-campus education of young people in the city, and to coordinate and guide the education of ethnic minorities.
