Shanxi Industrial and Information Technology School, formerly known as Shanxi Textile Technical School, was formally established as a full-time public technical school in June 2006 1988 with the approval of Shanxi Provincial People's Government.
In September, 2000, with the official approval of Shanxi Provincial People's Government, the provincial textile school merged with the College of Textile Engineering and Fine Arts of Taiyuan University of Technology. On July 20 14, it was renamed Shanxi Industrial and Information School, which was headed by Shanxi Economic and Information Committee and guided by Shanxi Human Resources and Social Security Department. The school now has more than 500 students/kloc-0. It is a vocational and technical school integrating mechanic education, short-term training and skill appraisal.

Introduction to Shanxi:
Shanxi, named after living in the west of Taihang Mountain, is referred to as "Jin", also known as "Sanjin", and is the capital of Taiyuan City. "Taihang Mountain in the east, Luliang Mountain in the west, the Yellow River in the south and the ancient Great Wall in the north, bounded by Hebei, Henan, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and other provinces" Liu Zongyuan called it "exterior landscape".
Shanxi is one of the birthplaces of the Chinese nation, with a recorded history of 3000 years. It is known as "the cradle of Chinese civilization" and "China Museum of Ancient Culture". Total area 156700 square kilometers, with Taihang Mountain in the east and Luliang Mountain in the west. The mountainous area accounts for more than 80% of the total area of the province.
The outline of Shanxi administrative region is a parallelogram inclined from northeast to southwest. It has jurisdiction over 1 1 prefecture-level cities,19 county-level administrative units (23 municipal districts,1/county-level cities, 85 counties) with a total population of 36108,000.
Shanxi is a typical mountainous plateau covered by loess, with high terrain in the northeast and low terrain in the southwest. Most areas in China are above 1 500m above sea level, and the highest point is Dou Feng, the main peak leaf of Wutai Mountain, with an altitude of 306 1. 1m, which is the highest peak in North China and is known as the "roof of North China". The lowest point is where the Xiyang River flows into the Yellow River in Yuanqu County, with an altitude of only 180 meters.
The interior of the plateau is undulating, the valleys are criss-crossed, and the landform types are complex and diverse. There are mountains, hills, terraces, plains, many mountains and few rivers. Mountains and hills account for 80. 1% of the total area of the province, while Pingchuan and river valleys account for 19.9% of the total area.
