New Policy of Second-hand Housing Transaction in Chengdu 2022
The Office of the Leading Group for the Steady and Healthy Development of the Real Estate Market in Chengdu issued the Notice on Further Optimizing and Perfecting the Real Estate Policy to Promote the Stable and Healthy Development of the Market to further optimize and improve the real estate policy.

The notice optimizes the conditions for purchasing houses. In the downtown area of this city (except qingbaijiang district and Xinjin District, the same below), new commercial housing or second-hand housing shall meet the following conditions at the same time:

1. The purchaser has a household registration in the restricted area where the proposed house is located, or the household registration is not in the restricted area where the proposed house is located, but the social security has been paid continuously in the local area 12 months or more;   

2. Families with two or more registered residents in this Municipality own 1 set or less (including 1 set) houses with their own property rights within the central city, or adult single families with registered residents in this Municipality and families without registered residents in this Municipality have no houses with their own property rights within the central city;

3. In the suburbs (cities) and counties (including East New District, qingbaijiang district and Xinjin District, the same below) of this Municipality, the purchaser shall have the household registration in this Municipality, or be employed in this Municipality without the household registration.
