Yancheng is located in the transition zone from the north subtropical zone to the south warm temperate zone, with obvious maritime warm and humid monsoon climate, four distinct seasons, abundant sunshine, moderate rainfall and long frost-free period. The average annual sunshine is 2800 hours, the average temperature is 14.2℃, the average annual precipitation is 900mm, and the frost-free period is about 2 17 days. In 20 14, it won the title of national garden city and national sanitary city. In the first three quarters of 20 14, the average monthly concentration of PM2.5 was the lowest in Jiangsu, and the number of days with good air ranked first in Jiangsu. Yancheng ranked fourth in the air quality ranking of 74 key cities in China in September released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, second only to Haikou, Zhoushan and Lhasa, which is a place to open people's hearts.
