The disciplinary action against party member must be discussed and decided by the Party branch meeting. According to the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of Producers' Party of China", party member's punishment must be discussed and decided by the Party branch meeting and reported to the Party's grass-roots committee for approval. If the issues involved are important or complicated, or if party member is expelled from the Party, it shall be reported to the Party's Commission for Discipline Inspection at or above the county level for examination and approval according to different circumstances.
