With the permit and the above-mentioned documents, the parties concerned return to the police station where they live now to explain the situation and the relocation procedures in registered permanent residence.
After obtaining the household registration information of the parties concerned, they shall return to the household registration management police station where they settled to go through the settlement procedures.
The Regulations on Household Registration stipulates that:
Article 10
If a citizen moves out of the place under the jurisdiction of the household registration, he or the head of the household shall apply to the household registration authority for emigration registration, obtain a migration certificate and cancel the household registration.
Citizens who move from rural areas to cities must apply to the permanent residence registration authority for moving out with the employment certificate of the urban labor department, the school admission certificate, or the approval certificate of the urban household registration authority.
Citizens moving to border areas must be approved by the public security organs of the counties, cities and municipal districts where they live.
Article 13
A citizen who moves shall, within three days in the city and ten days in the countryside from the date of arrival at his place of residence, report to the household registration authority for registration of moving, and submit a certificate of moving.
Citizens who have no migration documents shall report to the household registration authority where they move in with the following documents:
1. Demobilized, demobilized and veterans shall be certified by the military service organs at the county or city level or the military organs at or above the regiment level.
2. Overseas Chinese and returned students should show their passports or entry certificates of the People's Republic of China.
3. A person released by a people's court, a people's procuratorate or a public security organ shall produce a certificate issued by the releasing organ.
Article 19
When a citizen's household registration changes due to marriage, divorce, adoption, claim, separation, merger, disappearance, withdrawal or other reasons, the head of the household or himself shall declare the change registration to the household registration authority.
