The greening landscape project of the Fifth Bridge of Xiangjiang River is designed according to ecology, based on rich green, and the creation of plant community landscape is pursued at both ends of the bridge. The municipal party committee and municipal government assess the situation, forward-looking positioning the bridge construction as a key project to promote leap-forward development, making strategic arrangements for catching-up progress and leap-forward development, and constantly accelerating the pace of traffic facilities construction. On September 29th, 20071/KLOC-0, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Fifth Bridge of Xiangjiang River. On May 18 of the following year, the project officially started construction.

The Fifth Xiangjiang Bridge is invested and constructed by CCCC Second Waterway Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. (referred to as the Second Waterway Engineering Bureau). The bridge type is a three-span arch beam steel structure combination system, starting from Tianyuan District in the west and connecting with Lushan Road. East to Lusong District and connected to Honggang Road, the main line of the whole bridge is 2,495.6 meters long, of which the total length of the main bridge is 182 1.6 meters, the main bridge is 33 meters wide and has six lanes in both directions. The estimated total investment of the project is 70.1billion yuan, and the construction period is 36 months.

In the past three years, with the strong support of the Second Aviation Administration and relevant departments of Zhuzhou City, the Xiangjiang Fifth Bridge Project Department has overcome the rare natural disasters of ice and snow, the low water of Xiangjiang River and the delay of demolition, carried forward the spirit of "striving for scientific and technological leadership and creating first-class management", meticulously organized, scientifically managed, strictly programmed and civilized, carried out pioneering projects in party member, labor competitions, striving for harmonious projects and other activities, and comprehensively and smoothly promoted the bridge construction.

Urban development, traffic first. At the end of 2009, according to the needs of the rapid development of urban construction, Zhuzhou Municipal Government reached an agreement with No.2 Aviation Administration, requiring the Fifth Bridge to be opened to traffic six months in advance, which was included in the government work report.

Under the pressure, the Fifth Bridge Project Department quickly adjusted the construction plan, increased the investment in personnel, materials and equipment, signed letters of responsibility layer by layer, carried out labor competition and implemented the progress reward and punishment system on the premise of ensuring quality and safety. The enthusiasm of all the staff was high, all the work was accelerated in an all-round way, and the plan was overfulfilled one after another. The construction period of the hanging basket was shortened by 4 days on average, and the main bridge was closed six months ahead of schedule, ensuring that the whole bridge was opened to traffic at the end of the year, half a year ahead of the expected target.

The rainbow flies down the Xiangjiang River, and the new city rises in the present. After the opening of the Fifth Bridge, together with Tianyuan Bridge, Jianshe Road and Changjiang Road, it will form the inner ring of the city, share the traffic pressure in the central area of the city, improve the urban traffic environment, and will effectively promote the construction of a harmonious and ecologically livable Zhuzhou.

Strategic choice, continuous three-degree cooperation

"The Fifth Bridge of Xiangjiang River has continued the good cooperative relationship between the Second Navigation Bureau and Zhuzhou City." Zhang Junsheng, project manager and party branch secretary of Xiangjiang Fifth Bridge, said.

The strategic cooperation between Zhuzhou City and No.2 Aviation Administration has a long history. The first project is the lock project of Zhuzhou Navigation and Power Hub. Subsequently, the Second Navigation Bureau built the first BT project in Zhuzhou-the Fourth Xiangjiang Bridge (Tianyuan Bridge). This bridge has created the fastest record in the history of bridge construction in Zhuzhou, and won the 2007 Quality Engineering Award in Hunan Province.

The Fifth Bridge of Xiangjiang River is the second BT project, which is still invested and built by the Second Navigation Bureau. After completion, Zhuzhou City will buy it back by means of government procurement and installment payment.

"An important reason for choosing No.2 Navigation Bureau to build the Fifth Xiangjiang Bridge is that there was no quality and safety accident during the construction of the Fourth Xiangjiang Bridge." On February 17 last year, Chen Junwen, secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, visited the construction site of the Fifth Xiangjiang Bridge again, telling him to ensure the quality and safety, and asked the relevant departments to give full support to create a good environment for the project construction. Wang Qun, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor, visited the site of Xiangjiang Fifth Bridge for many times to learn about the project progress, quality, civilized construction and safety production.

For Zhuzhou, No.2 Aviation Administration is a trustworthy partner. Founded in 1950, No.2 Navigation Bureau is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Communications Construction Co., Ltd., a fortune 500 enterprise, and has the special grade of general contracting for highway engineering construction.

The first-class qualification of general contracting for port and waterway engineering construction and general contracting for municipal public works; More than 200 docks of various types have been built, and nearly 100 bridges across rivers and seas have been built and participated in; In the construction of Jiangyin, Wuhan Junshan, Ehuang, Runyang, Wuhan Yangluo and other Yangtze River bridges, many bridge construction records in China have been created, and the world's largest span cable-stayed Sutong Yangtze River Bridge, the world's longest cross-sea bridge Hangzhou Bay Bridge, and the world's largest span steel truss arch bridge Chongqing Chaotianmen Yangtze River Bridge have been built.

In contrast, among many large-scale projects attracting worldwide attention in the Second Navigation Bureau, the Xiangjiang Fifth Bridge project with an estimated investment of 7. 1 100 million yuan can only be regarded as a small project. However, from the date of project preparation, the leaders of No.2 Aviation Administration and the four companies responsible for construction paid special attention to this, and listed the project as the seventh of the "Top Ten Projects" this year to ensure its completion and opening to traffic this year.

On March 9th this year, Wang Haihuai, general manager of the Second Navigation Bureau, once again came to the Fifth Bridge Project Department of Xiangjiang River to check the progress of the project, and asked to ensure that it was opened to traffic in advance at the end of the year. We also discussed the further deepening of cooperation between No.2 Aviation Administration and Zhuzhou City and the investment in the construction of the Sixth Xiangjiang Bridge.

Exquisite skills, three major difficulties

If you want to realize a dream, you should make it round without regret.

During the construction, the No.2 Navigation Bureau introduced advanced technology, which continuously overcame the key points and difficulties in the construction of large-diameter pile foundation, V-brace and basket-carrying box arch, so as to ensure the construction quality of the bridge and benefit the people of Zhuzhou.

One of the difficulties: construction of 3.5m large diameter pile foundation.

The 3 1# and 32# at both ends of the highest arch of the bridge are the main bearing piers, and 8 rock-socketed piles with a diameter of 3.5m shall be arranged under each pier. It is the first time to drill such a large pile foundation by drilling technology in No.2 Navigation Bureau. For this 16 pile, the project department invested more than 2 million yuan and specially purchased 3 drilling rigs. After many demonstrations and careful construction, the project department broke through the technical difficulties of super-large diameter underwater bored pile foundation and successfully poured it to a depth of 28 meters, achieving the goal of high quality and safety.

The second difficulty: curved thin-walled prestressed V-brace construction.

V-brace, that is, the V-shaped main pier in the water, is like a pair of open giant arms to support the main body of the bridge, with beautiful appearance, but the technology is quite complicated and the construction is very difficult. The project department has invited experts from all sides to hold a plan review meeting for many times, and repeatedly scrutinized every step to be foolproof. From the first concrete construction on February 22, 2009, which lasted more than four months, the project department successfully solved many problems such as curve, thin wall, prestress and rigid skeleton in V-brace construction, and successfully completed major construction nodes.

The third difficulty: the installation of the basket box arch.

The basket box arch is three arcs arched on the bridge deck. The arch rib of the main bridge is a basket-box arch with an inclination of 3.814. The rise of the main arch is 30 meters, the rise of the side arch is 18 meters, and the maximum segment weight of the arch rib of the main span is 70.2 tons, which is another big test for construction. After demonstration, the construction workers processed the arch rib into small sections in the factory, transported it to the top of the box girder, then spliced it, and then installed it with gantry crane, successfully overcoming this difficult technical problem.

In the past three years, the project department has used advanced technology and exquisite technology to overcome technical problems and captured engineering nodes, turning the Fifth Bridge of Xiangjiang River from a blueprint on paper into a flourishing boutique standing on the Xiangjiang River.

Harmonious project, build a monument.

Yesterday morning when I went to work, Zhang Junsheng, secretary of the project department, once again walked on the bridge and made a careful inspection from west to east. It has become his habit to patrol regularly every day.

"Since the start of construction, there has not been a quality and safety accident in the Fifth Bridge Project." A century-long plan, quality-oriented. From the start of construction, the project department will decompose the target responsibility for the quality management of the bridge, refine the quality management, implement the responsibility to people, and link it with rewards and punishments. The project department will also conduct random checks with the owner and supervisor from time to time, from raw materials entering the site to construction site control, from scheme approval to calibration of various instruments, from concrete appearance control to data collection in the industry, and conduct all-round inspection of quality management.

The Fifth Bridge is a municipal super-large bridge, located in the downtown area, across the main roads of the city, and it also needs to carry out three-dimensional crossing operations on water, land, high altitude and underground, so the safety issue is even more important. In order to support the work of creating sanitation and civilization in Zhuzhou City, the Fifth Bridge Project Department strictly manages and carries out civilized construction, and keeps the construction site orderly for a long time.
