Huangyan double-spring bamboo carving is the main variety of bamboo carving technology in China, also known as sticking spring, bamboo spring and reverse spring. Huangyan double spring originated in Tongzhi period of Qing Dynasty. According to data, it was created by Chen, a folk bamboo carving artist. The process includes removing nodes and green leaves of Phyllostachys pubescens, leaving bamboo springs, cooking, drying, flattening, gluing or inlaying on wooden tires and bamboo pieces, and then polishing. Carving is mainly based on shallow engraving of yinxian, and there are also thin reliefs.
