After listening to my father telling me some examples of corruption, I learned that some corrupt officials are bending the law, collecting money crazily and becoming prisoners. During the period of being examined, this is often reflected: I wanted to be an honest official, but after accepting the first bribe, I relaxed my vigilance and went on step by step.
Wang Tingxiang, a philosopher in the Song Dynasty, once told a fable: bearers wear new shoes and go to town. At first, he was careful not to get his new shoes dirty. Later, he was distracted and stepped into the pond, so he stepped on it with one foot high and one foot low, and he no longer had any scruples. There is a problem, bearers should be alert to the first step when traveling. Isn't this the truth for official administration?
