Pearl cotton, also known as EPE, is a new type of environmental protection packaging material. It is composed of numerous independent bubbles produced by physical foaming of low density polyethylene ester. Overcomes the shortcomings of ordinary styrofoam, such as brittleness, deformation and poor recovery. It has many advantages, such as waterproof, shockproof, sound insulation, heat preservation, good plasticity, strong toughness, recycling, environmental protection, strong impact resistance and so on, and also has good chemical resistance. It is an ideal substitute for traditional packaging materials.

Pearl cotton is also widely used in electronic appliances, instruments, computers, stereos, medical devices, industrial control cabinets, lighting, handicrafts, glass, ceramics, household appliances, spraying, furniture, wine and gift packaging, hardware products, toys, melons and fruits, leather shoes, daily necessities and other products.

With the addition of antistatic agent and flame retardant, EPE pearl cotton has more obvious performance. EPE pearl cotton is also widely used in elastic lining of handbags and bags, sound insulation and heat insulation materials for industrial production, agricultural heat insulation materials, floating equipment for aquaculture, protective mats for sporting goods, life-saving equipment for water work, floor decoration and padding for families and hotels, and so on. Its pipes are widely used in air conditioning, baby carriages, children's toys, furniture and other industries.

The adhesive products of EPE and various fabrics are good interior decoration materials for various vehicles and rooms. The composite products of EPE and aluminum foil or aluminized film have excellent anti-infrared and anti-ultraviolet ability, and are substitutes for some chemical equipment cold storage and camping equipment car sunshade.
