The Implementation Rules also clarify that subsidized vehicles must comply with relevant regulations and be listed in the Catalogue of Recommended Vehicles for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The new energy vehicles that have been subsidized by the central government include pure electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles (including extended-range vehicles) and fuel cell vehicles.
